Quoted from shovelhed:

Maybe some pinheads don’t give a shit what the value of there toy is and just want to play it. Maybe some one likes one art package better than another. Not everything in this hobby is based on value. That’s what’s currently wrong with our hobby.

When people trade things they almost always consider the market value of the goods being exchanges, so you can't blame the pinball hobby for that one. And it's unlikely you'll find a taker for your trade since the backglass you want has a market value significantly higher than the translite you are offering, plus you're asking someone to "break up the set" by trading you an LE backglass, which would make their LE pinball machine much harder to trade/sell if they ever decide to get rid of it.

Why not post a WTB/WTT for other alternate AC/DC translites and see what people offer up, maybe there's one out there that better suits your family's taste (but isn't part of an ultra-rare LE set that no one will want to break up)?

You have zero skin in the game, appreciate you getting me bumped to the top. Obviously if I wanted a alternative I would just by it.

Right. Just like if someone with an LTBR preferred a Helen translite they'd just buy it instead of stripping parts off of their LE to trade. Regardless, if you beat the odds and find your backglass trade you can come back and dunk on all us "zero skin in the game" naysayers. And in the meantime you're getting free bumps, and maybe someone will PM you with a more conventional trade offer for your translite that works out for you. Either way, best of luck with it!
