Hi Guys. Its been a long time since I posted on Pinside. Been hanging out in the fringes for quite a while, waiting for life to let me get back involved a little more. Until then, I need your input if you have some.

Cutting to the chase, I have someone asking to buy one of my Abra Ca Dabra machines and I have no idea what a fair price is right now. It is apart and in storage and needs to be shopped. Overall good condition (normal but minimal playfield wear, BackGlass has flaking in spots, cabinet is decent) and it wont take much TLC to get it going. Mechanically it is sound.

I will offer it as is or shopped depending on the buyer needs. I know this is hard to do on description alone, but I was hoping for a rough idea on price ranges.

I appreciate any input you might have to offer.

Thanks, Dane

Hi Dane, Not sure to be honest, but nice to see you post again.

As it sits, I'd say 600-800 range.

How have you been Alex?

Spent some time with odin back in June. He is such a gracious host. You were part of our conversation. Lots of good things to say!

I don't know, it's a pretty highly regarded game, I'd think you can get more than that for it. Of course, having not seen pictures of it, that's just pure speculation.

Thanks for the input. I can put some pics up tomorrow but I think I have a rough idea now. I love the Pinsiders. Especially the EM guys. Hope to get more involved again some day.

That seems low (unfortunately). The game is one of those cliches (Atlantis, El Dorado, C37 (Centigrade 37), Fathom, Medieval Madness, Monster Bash) that always seems to go for a ton even as a rough project, which it sounds like this one "just/only needs a light shopping".

Abra Ca Dabra, 1975 Gottlieb: $2800
Super nice. Has cabinet repainted. The game is shopped and gone through and plays 100%. Will ship anywhere in the lower 48 states.

I listed mine on MrPinball for 1400. playfield was nice, backglass mint and cabinet a nice original with some dings. I sold it @ 6:30 am the morning it listed and could have sold ten more.

abra was a game that was hardly sought after a few years ago. now it is very sought after. condition and location will play a big part in what it can go for. but generally speaking 800 with a flaking bg very minor pf wear and a average cab plus unshopped.
any rust will bring the 800 down but it could go to 1000 for the right local buyer

Yea it helps that Ron Webb has the glass for sale. Pinball Pimp has the stencils, Wade has the pf on his todo list. Cant get much better. Now Team One, somebody needs to do a retheme on that ugly duckly.
