Do the Left and Right outside rollovers score the bonus every time?

Quoted from ChipS:

Yes, they do.

My new idea...

I was thinking that if MOTOR 1C in series with E relay was only making contact for 120 degrees of motor rotation then you may get the problem indicated.

If you press the left or right outside rollover several times in a row does it score the correct bonus each time? If it does score bonus correctly every time then Motor 1C is OK.

Quoted from ChipS:

Also, while I had the playfield up, I ran my fingers over the outlane which is supposed to score the bonus - and it did. But I noticed that the E relay (advance bonus) and G relay (500 points) both fired. Is the G relay (500 points) supposed to fire every time the E relay (advance bonus) is activated? Since the outlane NEVER scores 500 points, why would the 500 point relay fire?

That is correct: outlanes operate both E and G relays. I believe they both need to operate because of the sequence bank reset logic. E and G switches are in series with the Sequence Bank reset coil, so when both E and G operate no reset occurs (i.e when a drop target or outlane switch is made). When you complete the 1-2-3-4 sequence the 5B sequence switch closes, and as it only operates E the sequence bank is then reset.
