The license needs to be active to finish the code?

The KISS accessories posts on Facebook really piss me off. Stop trying to sell me KISS products until the code is fixed. I don't expect finished code yet, but at least fix what's wrong on this one.
Stern should pass this game along to Dwight or Lyman. -moderated-
Quoted from Pinfactory2000:I thought that was in very poor taste on sterns part. They openly admit that accessories are aimed (mostly) at the home buyer. They also openly admit that the home buyer 'requires' more code to be satisfied than an operator. The pin has gotten virtually no meaningful code updates (nitpick away if you like) for over half a year and yet they have plenty of time to create, build, market and sell half a dozen accessories.
I've cancelled my LE GB and will put off buying a GB all together until KISS code is released.
I wouldn't cancel Ghostbusters. Dwight is on that code.
Watch the Making of Game of Thrones video on Stern's youtube page. Dwight has so much passion for what he does. The code is going to be good and in time, he will make sure it will be complete. I own a GOT LE and I love where the code is currently. It isn't broken.

Quoted from dzoomer:If people want Lyman and Dwight code depth they should buy Lyman and Dwight coded pins. Kiss is not that. I understand the frustration over the lack of Kiss code updates, but the developer info and history was available to read and understand before any NIB purchase.

What makes matters worse, is the tease for the code update. I think it is safe to say that a vast majority of KISS owners are completely fed up with the current code. Why is Stern dragging this on a day longer than necessary?
Quoted from dzoomer:Pinside has vociferously posted on the subject of Stern pin coding for a long time, and even had a wheresthecode hashtag campaign. Slow updates were observed for the last many years on many pins. The Kiss experience is not unique.
Personally, I wouldn't single out a code developer for being responsible for slow code updates. It is Stern who directs its employees on how and where use their time. Slow updates aren't because of poor/slow coding, it is because a software developer is not given the time (or enough time) to do the work.
What other game is Lonnie working on? Dwight has GOT and Ghostbusters. I must say, for a launch code, GOT was pretty amazing.
Quoted from Jaybird815:Interesting how everyone seems to know the inner workings at Stern.
My father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate works there.
