I'm hoping for more great news to come from Stern in 2016, LCD and other technology enhancements. I'd say Jared is doing a really good job in helping change the image at Stern with much better communication. Stern is getting better with code at release and updates.

I loved the GOT live stream. More videos and behind the scenes insight from employees would be really cool.

Factory tour video was well done too.

And yes, whatever they pay Lyman its not enough!

Nothing will ever be good enough for hard core pinheads. That's ok. We are a demanding bunch.

I applaud Stern for improving and making changes. I think 2016 will be huge.

I don't believe pins should ever be "done". In fact, with LCDs and other technology coming out it would be quite foolish not to capitalize on ADDING new code/video as somewhat of a new game or journey, like a video game update.

As much $$$ as we drop on mods, give me some new code service packs on pins we own that we can purchase separately.

Everybody blows a nut over TWD callout updates, and rightly so. Most of us contributed $$ to that effort and huge thanks to Millhouse and Cleland.

Mark it down. It's coming, stupid for them not to create another revenue stream.

Heighway is giving us the box and then swap able play fields. How about swap able code?

Sorry, I look at Jarid as a "look at me" a$$ kisser. IMHO

It's his job to promote Stern and improve communication. Wtf?

Quoted from flynnibus:

meaning.. he convinced people to pay him for the skill...

So what?

Ok, I'll slow it down...
Because there is a difference between doing something because its your job... and getting paid to do something you do natively.

Some of you guys are taking what Jared said the wrong way.

If you are a "complete code" guy then simply wait or buy something else that is complete.

I did that with Ac/dc but bought TWDLE on day one. I like getting to play it for a year now and seeing the progression of the code to date, and as its about to be finished its become one of Stern's best pins ever.

I would buy any Lyman pin day one because you know he will make it as great as he can. Same thing with Keith. Its wait and see with everybody else for me.

Stern is rolling in the right direction and Jared is a positive factor for Stern and a guy that communicates our concerns.

As demanding as we pinheads are, sometimes we sound like a "bunch of whiny little b*tches"

I can't believe some of what I'm reading. A lot of short memories around here.

Are we much better off today or 2 or 3 years ago?

How about the great F Ing pins they have pumped out during that time?

My only beef is I bought a TWDLE and was told by two distributors that Stern told them "no premiums this time".

Ok so I was going to buy TWDLE dream theme from Day one anyhow. Would I have waited and bought a premium if I knew they were making one? Maybe but not likely. But if the pin sucked I might be pissed

Be up front and honest, don't rely on some disclaimer at the bottom.

When you create a pin like TWD with an awesome layout from Borg and sensational code from Lyman you have set the bar VERY HIGH!

It's hard to imagine buying a pin up front anymore unless its Lyman or Keith. I bought TWD on day one because of the dream theme and Lyman. Expectations were exceeded.

I want to buy Ghostbusters right off the bat because that could be another great theme and thinking LCD will be implemented this time as well. Hopefully Lyman is on that one too.

It will be interesting to see how Aliens and TBL develop.

Where does Ben Heck fit into the coding hierarchy? We shall see after RZ

Quoted from TomGWI:

We have been saying a LCD will be implemented for 3-4 years. I don't think they are in any hurry to do it.

Ain't that the truth. Let's hope they finally have it integrated with Spike. I think we get it this time! Was supposed to start with Star Trek.

Quoted from Aurich:

Ben isn't coding Rob Zombie. He's involved in the game, but not at that level.

Any idea as to the capabilities of who is? It seems hard enough for Stern to get it right with their team of programmers.

You have a choice.

Buy what you KNOW will get done right, i.e. Lyman

Or wait and see.

All the bitching and whining is really stupid.
