Finally getting around to tinkering with my F-14. One of my tasks is to add the two 8amp fuse holders to the power supply as detailed by vid1900's guide.

My question is: the entire back of the f14 backbox is a sheet of metal. Do I have to screw through it? Or can I mount the two new fuse holders to the all wood side portion of the backbox?

The metal is super thin.

A sharp screw will easily pierce it.

Got it. An awl/hammer followed by a self drilling screw
