I used to say that a game would have to pay itself off in 2 months to be any good, and this one has almost done it.

Not necessarily, it attracts people that happen to be in the location. Or, pinheads seeking one in the wild. I sincerely doubt regular joes heard about it an are seeking it out.
Now I hope it's true, but doubtful.
