We all know how real, reality TV is.

Check out this episode we did on a short lived reality show, Vintage Tech Hunter’s that only lasted 1 Season on Discovery Channel back in 2018.

This show was only available to be viewed in the Canadian market. I would never have know that major cable networks have certain shows that only air in certain countries/markets. Filmed in Texas ….but not on Discovery Channel here in the US?!

It was my quest for 2 years to actually watch the episode we filmed as the production company, dropped communication once they got what they wanted out of us. Not living in Canada, nor paying for Canadian Cable service it made actually seeing this episode for the longest time almost near impossible.

After lost hope after Years of trying to find it. I typed it into a search engine…and there it is! And I can watch it in its entirety.

Was it staged? What do you think? Lol
I didn’t get paid a dime, It was just fun to do.
But, it made for some entertaining television that I’m glad brought pinball to light to the general public.

I would have watched the show if it had been on in the US. That was enjoyable to watch.

Too bad you couldn’t have said prophetically “How much is it worth ? Well if you keep it for another 4 years in storage with so much Pinflation going around you can probably get $10k by Christmas”.

I was in one called Ice Brigade. They wanted to make a pinball machine out of ice, a working machine. So they came to our house for R+D, I sent them home with parts and they actually made one from ice and set it in a local bar up in Grand Rapids.....and it was playable for a little while.......LOL. I'll see if I can find the episode, I know someplace I have it on DVD.

I have to admit, in recent years, most of the stuff I watch on YouTube is pinball related. Wish there were more quality YouTube shows dedicated to the hobby. If you have the time and knowledge, why not start your own TV show and reach the whole world.

Good watch. I enjoyed it and certainly would get into it if it aired here.
