    Quoted from Darcy:

    From my window.
The pin hauler, and the 1992 Mustang and the 1990 Mustang. Finishing up replacing the heater core on the convertible today. Bought the convertible a couple of weeks ago, it spent its first 10 years in Japan. It was 7 degrees Celsius with light rain. For the very observant Pinsiders you might notice the new roof shingles on the garage.
    [quoted image]

I will never forget the heater core replacement on my 87' GT...had to remove that entire dash, what a blast.

    Quoted from TractorDoc:

Running a new piece of conduit to upgrade the garage wiring. . . making it a more "pin-friendly" environment.
This is just the first section(s) -- I had to dig another 50 feet beyond.
    [quoted image]

Ugh... I rented a trench digger to run a line to my shed. Over 100' and 20+ feed of solid roots. Went like butter until I hit the roots...then a buried metal fence, rocks, etc...Fun times

    Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

Hell No! 3240 cans for $4700.00, HELL NO!
My beer currently costs $20.13 after tax for a 30 pack. I am not doing the math, but I would guess 3240 cans of my beer would cost around $2200.00.

I bought an unpriced four pack of beer recently because of the can, rang up for almost $23. Annnnd, I didn't care for it too much, double punch to the gut lol

    Quoted from mbwalker:

House got hit by lightning Monday night. Wasn't sure, thought it was maybe in the yard or woods. But I found the spot later in the day Tues (lucky the house didn't burn down).
All kinds of stuff not working. The 'finding things not working' list is getting longer - time to get insurance involved.
Posted these in the lawn thread, thought I'd share here.

Surge took out my FlightAware receiver.
    [quoted image]
Lightning must have followed the metal trim, then arced over to the soffit light trim. Same issue with some flood lights. Blew the lens right off this one.
    [quoted image]
Turned off some breakers until an electrician comes over. I'm sure my smart house switches are toast.

I have a "whole home surge protector" attached to my main panel, wonder if it would have done it's job in your situation. I installed mine after a buddy's street got hit by lightning and his house was the only one not to loose anything, because ha had one. If you drove up his street, all you saw were major appliances on the curb in front of everyone's home. People lost everything electric. He just had the melted remains of the surge protector which did it's job.

    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

Some stupid mother fuker dented my car the other day. Didn't even leave a note. #douchebagmmlu6#ķķķ³344⁴5ll
    [quoted image]

Someone did that to my last vehicle on the rear quarter, and my mother's brand new vehicle on the hatch. (I hate people) Luckily it "looks" from your picture that that dent in your bumper can come out his the hair dryer/hot water trick (see YouTube), then buff off the white crap.
I recently had my music on a tad too loud in my garage and the bass made a board fall on my wife's hood, huge dent. I glued a bunch of glue sticks to it and pulled, got 99% of the dent out. (It's an older vehicle we really don't care about, so didn't need perfection).

How many gas stations have a view?

    Also hitting the provincial border.

Had two Fox body GT's when I was young (one with T-Tops), miss them. Have been watching ones for sale, should have bought before prices went stupid, like everything else.

"Flames of Hope" breast cancer support event, Providence RI (pouring rain for most of it unfortunately). My wife is a survivor, torch bearer, and top ten fundraiser for the event.
