I counted 56 deer out front of our house a couple of months ago.

Looks to be over 50 deer across the road from my house today at dusk. You may have to enlarge the picture to see them all.

That’s the quickest flip of a pinball game that I’ve ever seen.

I wish I had my camera ready last week, but I was too surprised to get my phone out when it happened. You’ll have to settle for a tale of a white tailed dear that I saw on my way home from dinner last week. It was about 7:00 pm and I was driving down Strasburg Rd outside of Monroe Michigan. There had just been a stop sign, so I had only sped up to about 35 miles per hour as I came up to the Green Meadows golf course. The tee box for the ninth hole was right next to the road. Two good looking young ladies who appeared to be in their early or mid twenties in short skirts were preparing to tee off. The tall brunette was bending over to place her ball on the tee and her skirt rode up to reveal a nice, bare white tail. Meanwhile, her shorter, blonde playing partner stared at my smiling face as I slowed down to a crawl while passing. That image has sustained my good mood ever since.

Don. When we lived in Newport, we woke up one winter morning to find that all of our burning bushes were ground down to nubs. At first we thought that the township had come out and cut them out because they were blocking the view of the meter reader. Upon further review, I discovered deer pellets on the ground everywhere. Those damn deer ate about 10 fully grown, leafless burning bushes.

How can something be halfway abandoned? Is that like being a little bit pregnant? Nonetheless, that’s a really nice scene.

If you like Innis and Gunn, try Ola Dubh scotch ale. It’s fantastic.

I get a chuckle out of deer pictures too. You may have to zoom in, but there are around 60 deer in this picture.

Don’t tease us, Punkin. If they’re outside, then we the public can see them. Do they like pinball?

You can eat a skinny cow, but I wouldn’t recommend milking one.

@RA77: I liked the deleted pic. It was the right pic so far as I’m concerned.
