    Still light hazy smokey? Here in fallbrook ca, you could see bonsall in the far distance, if not for the haze.

    First pic is looking east, those are the hills behind Rainbow, where the witch fire broke out. It burned west jumped the 15, and burned about a mile into fallbrook along Reche Rd.

    Second pic in south east where the last serious fire started at the junction of the 15 and 76. It burned west, skirting the south of Fallbrook, and into bonsall causing terrible destruction.

    Maize, Indian corn. It's about 12 feet high, slow growing, makes me look short.

    My above post I edited, the witch fire burned WEST. sorry. FFing Santa Anna's.

    Saturn will be in Opposition tonight I believe, anyone got a telescope with an attached camera rig?
    That would make a great View from your window picture.

    I got my cheapy telescope ready, no camera.

    Holy Cats !!! I've seen the Ring of Saturn with my own Eyes !! With the help of a telescope.
    But I observed Saturn !!

    You can clearly see the ring around Saturn... its tiny in my telescope, but its clear.
