Quoted from yzfguy:At least it's a "dry heat" in AZ
Right...
Set a record on Wed 106'F
Quoted from RWH:White tailed dear in my neighbors yard qualify? Not really lol.
[quoted image]
Does the Deer's Husband have anything to say ?
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Nice pic. What handicap you shooting from?
no idea i just started a month ago. I shoot on a team of five and we shoot from the front position. I really enjoy it though.
Last night went 42/50 .
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Good score for just starting. Our spot closed about 5 years ago due to city expansion. Closest is 40 miles now. Fun sport
This spot is 20 miles from home , takes about 45 min to get there.
I learned they host the Olympic trails here at this location, Tucson Skeet and Trap Club, check it out.
Funny thing is i am shooting with a borrowed gun , i dont have my own yet, that may be a $200 modified shotgun. You should see what guys have to shoot with, If you guys think spending $6500 on a pin is crazy ? i swear one guy told me his gun was $22,000. WTF, Why ?
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Go buy a nice Remington wingmaster. One of the best shotguns ever made. The regulars get pissed at my 1100, semi auto, so I run a rubber band around receiver to stop shell from hitting them haha
Funny,
I've been waiting for my teamate to my right to say something about my shells flying his way !
Been looking at the Tristar TT-15 Sporting O/U, made at the same factory as Benelli .
Quoted from dirkdiggler:I've never fired a gun in my life
me either until last month, i had always wanted to skeet and trap since i was a kid. Go check your local gun club and and give it a try , it really is alot of fun!
At my club, i have been told that they have a place where you can drive around on golf cart and shoot different type of moving targets that come out of the bushes , etc. I look forward to giving that a try . What could go wrong, golf carts & shotguns !
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:Let me guess, you're a Kolar guy? Perhaps Krieghoff?
Well, not exactly.
I call it my Rat Rod Gun , its a borrowed pieced together modified pump 12gauge. Like a $200 gun, but I usually score as good or better than the guys with those spendy guns .
Quoted from Jaybird815:The most chill puppy I’ve ever seen
[quoted image]
You got yourself a water dog right there.
Our neighbors growing up had a big ole golden , Teddy, He literally lived in the pool. Well one day the neighbor Cathy calls my mom to see if we had seen Teddy . Mom responds , well no the boys are sitting in the jacuzzi . Come to find out an hour later ONE of the boys heads in the Jacuzzi was actually Teddy the neighbors dog . He just came over and hopped in with us, and mom looking from the kitchen couldn't really tell who was who .
Thanks for all the thumbs up...
Those 3 pics of last night storm were all taken at the same time .
Top pic - west
Middle pic - South East

Quoted from rad:A more enjoyable view from our outing while the bear visited the cabin. Capitol Peak and the "knife-edge" ridge.

Quoted from yzfguy:You had me at "walking to my job!"

Quoted from Atari_Daze:Oh man, o-din would really loose it if that was running outside his place at 0800!
Would love to see tthat .
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Stevie Wonder?
I think he started with an oval circle approach and then changed his mind , ran out of gas, or just said Fuck it., but either way obviously a rookie .
Quoted from jaytrem:We have the decency to keep out snow indoors here in NJ...
[quoted image]
Is that year round ?
Whats the average outdoor temp during operation?
Quoted from RyanStl:Must be nice to not have to worry about grass. Without the need for grass I would look as relaxed as you. My wife would love a move to Arizona. Too many roots here.
I have been involved in moving two families to Tucson , through pinside ....
Hit me up for a personal tour or any info .

Quoted from Jaybird815:It’s usually a good idea to get your car off the side of the road before a heavy snow.

That is how he sneaks new pins into the house.
It followed me home honey, can I keep it ?
LTG : )
Technically ....
Shouldn't he be pulling it , to call it "followed '
Funny thing is it looks like he is walking through a public park or something
Quoted from TimBoch:Hole 1 is patterned after #11 at Augusta. The tee is just left of the 3rd green in the top picture and goes to just right of the waterfall. It's about 36 yards.
Hole 2 goes across the waterfall and is a 1/10th scale of #12 at Augusta at 15 yards.
Hole 3 is patterned after #13 at Augusta and is about 33 yards. The tee is from behind the 1st green near the ballwasher and goes to the green in the first picture.
[quoted image]
That is Sweeeeeeeet !!!
Quoted from Atari_Daze:While my answer may not be agreed upon by all, but since I have many 4 legged friends on my property 24/7, the snake in the picture become a few inches shorter and then relocated permanently to the woods next door.
I will say I make every effort to positively ID creatures as friend or foe. The last one was colored "red on yellow"... it too was permanently relocated after my dog chased it and thankfully listened to me when I yelled at him to stop the pursuit.
Same here .....
Rattlesnakes get dispatched, Kings snakes , Coach Whips and those sorts can move along peacefully.
Quoted from JayDee:[quoted image]
Hey Jaydee, maybe put a sign and picture of a T-rex on the lawn and see what sits on the patio furniture .....

Stopped in at this side road joint today for lunch in Damascus Arkansas. We were told people come from miles around for the fried chicken. It did not disappoint. The fresh made corn dog was the favorite. Bit the chicken was damn good.

Ya I guess that is the Matterhorn, I just took a quick look at it, great pic.
I climbed Vestal Peak a long time ago 1990, straight up the face. It took me 16 rope pitches and a full day, and signed the log at the summit.
Quoted from pinwiztom:?What is the temp today?
below 110'F?
I'm up in Marana AZ just north of Tucson. Actually it's a nice day at 97'
Quoted from hwyhed:There’s something satisfying about hearing a big thud when a big chunk of a tree hits the ground..I don’t get to see arborists do their work often
[quoted image][quoted image]
Better than a crash when you don't expect it
Quoted from Azmodeus:Then later. At ayci Gogi league.
I found it interesting my last post was downvoted. It seemed completely harmless.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Baffles me as well, so glad to see you out and about again .
I know right ! Even admitted he thought he had turned it off. After he told me what had happened I ran over there to meet him , he had jumped in his truck and left me / someone to clean it up. Then conveniently showed up 1.5 hours later after I had taken care of it and said he needed to go het a pallet jack. Total asshat bitch contractor to install the 18 wheeler truck wash. Apparently he's to important to clean up his own fuck up .
Quoted from yzfguy:That's a lot of money sitting right there
Yep, Brand New ...$560k !!!
