Quoted from Chrisbee:Marron, Yes....... boof-ed
for the many that don't know what a Marron is...
Marron are relatively large crayfish: they can grow to 38.5 cm (15") from head to tail, and weigh up to 2.2 kg.(4.8 lb) A marron can be identified by:
two small spines on its telson
six spines on its rostrum
five keels (ridges) on its head, three of which are very obvious
a long abdomen that is not tucked under its body.
Crawfish in the US south are fresh water. During my lifetime they have become quite expensive and are cultivated. Do you eat the marron? Where does it grow and is it cultivated? How do you preparet hem?

I went there for my honeymoon in 1993.
I was 22. Damn!
I spent Saturday at the Vicksburg National Military Park. There was so much to see and learn about. Here are just a few examples of monuments from north and south.

Have had a lot of rain/storms here over the last week. I'm sure I've seen one before but I cannot remember when. . . a full arc rainbow presented itself after today's shower. Look close and you can even see the start of a double at the left.

I’ve done Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and now Zion in a one week trip. They are crowded, but certainly enjoyable. I have found each to have it’s own charm. So far, my family has been very pleased with the experience.

Nice. Surely, we have some Pinsiders that know of this place locally.
Quoted from EJS:Never seen one of these before. Any guesses?
I’ll post a link in the edit field to what I think it is.
