    We don't get a lot of snow in Seattle, but once in a while.....Probably 7" so far with another 3"-4" before it quits.

    I worked on the North Slope for a little over a year back in the 70's when they were building the Trans Alaska Pipeline. Got to see them many times....sometimes filling the sky....I swear you could hear them. Once on a flight back to Fairbanks, off in the distance and clearly higher than us, I saw what looked like a very vivid green worm!

    When I was a kid, I remember gas being $16.3 cents per gallon. At that point in time, the decimal cents made sense. Isn't it time we drop the decimal $9/10 per gallon?
