Probably the best my yard will look this year. No matter how much I water (sprinkler system on every other day) it will not look like this by the end of June. Midwest heat is tough on lawns.

    Quoted from TractorDoc:

Attended a Tractor Show this weekend -- couple quick pictures from my camera's viewfinder window.

I love watching Classic Tractor Fever. Never owned a tractor but some of those old ones are beyond cool looking. I even like the lawn tractor segments.

This model is one of my favorites. This one sold for over $142,000!

One more favorite tractor style and I promise that will be it.

If you look closely you'll see that the tree is laying over my main power line coming into the house. Amazingly we did not lose power. Even bent the mast on the roof.
We got about 10 inches last night with another 3-4 inches expected this evening. Love the snow. But not this heavy wet stuff.

    Quoted from Atari_Daze:

These two are mumbles and Mike, mittens didn't make an appearance tonight. They like to come take what the cats leave behind from their evening meal.[quoted image][quoted image]

Be careful. They will eat kittens. I found out the hard way. An image I will never be able to erase from my mind.

A sad day for the lodge at Mt. Charleston.
    [quoted image]

One of my parents (sadly, both gone now) favorite places to go when visiting Vegas. I can still smell the wood burning in the fireplace as we ate breakfast there so many times.

    Quoted from hwyhed:

I still find it funny to see people plant palm trees in Vancouver..how they survive, I dunno..
    [quoted image]

A neighbor of mine has a few large palm trees in his yard here in St. Louis. Every winter he builds scaffolding around them covered with heavy plastic and has heaters installed inside. They have been here since we moved in 36 years ago.
