I moved my mother to Medicine Hat Alberta where she decided to retire. (She doesn't know one person there!) This is her view from the balcony. That tree is a beauty!

    Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

My grandson had a door slam on his finger in school last week. It not only smashed the tip but it cut and ripped the top half of his finger nail off. The doctors had to remove the rest of the nail and ended up with four stitches underneath. They then placed the remaining part of the nail back in place and crossed their fingers.
Hopefully, it grows back. I told him if it didn't, I was going to call him finger for the rest of his life!

I have a local crow the sits in my front yard trees screaming until i throw table scraps on the roof of my garage. Here he/she is enjoying a pork rib! (Yes, i need new shingles this year)

Every time you throw food up there yell “food” or whatever word you want it to say! It will eventually repeat it!

I'm taking care of my mom right now and she has a parrot. I Google'd how to get it to talk and most of the vids were getting crows to talk! That's a good idea. He has me trained... so maybe i can train it too

    Quoted from Sputnik:

I just caught this swarm of bees.
    [quoted image]

You should find a local beekeeper! They can come capture the queen and source all that honey! Must of fled a contaminated hive?!

    #3657 2 years ago
    Quoted from Sputnik:

It just happens I am a local beekeeper. My neighbor across the lake called this morning about the cloud of bees in his yard. So I went and got them.

That is awesome! Do you have more pics of the collecting?! How do they follow you and the queen home?! Or do you wait til they're all in a box hive?!

    #3659 2 years ago
    Quoted from Sputnik:

That is the only pic I took. Neighbor D may have more. I brush the cluster of bees into a hive bottom. Put the lid on it and wrap a strap around it. I stop the bottom entrance up with foam rubber.
Maybe I should keep one of my GoPros charged.

This is in a wall of a small town church nearby.. my friend was asked to be ready for spring as the bees are already acting up! Crazy they can produce that heat in the middle of our winter months!

You would be a natural at it.. it requires a beer in one hand and a frisbee in the other.. mix in a couple doobies & a mini speaker playing some James Brown and that's a round of disc golf! It's awesome dude!
