Something you don’t see every day. They are here to rebuild the pier and to dredge. Look forward to getting my boat here finally to the new house.

Nice visitor this morning on the Chesapeake Bay. There are two more just on the other side of the fence.

    Quoted from RWH:

Is that a fishing rod I see on the boat in the foreground or a radio antenna? I can't help but think fishing anytime I see big water like that you and Jay show in the pic's. Looks like a great place to retire.

Antenna whip. I’m not much of a fisherman but will throw the crab pot off the dock occasionally. My neighbor has a pretty nice fishing boat. Some of these boats have multiple rods that swing out to the sides. You add planer boards that you drag behind and you have folks doing some serious fishing.

Here is a cool picture from a few weeks ago while I was kayaking. About 6 am. Cool to catch a deer and heron at the same time.

I'm hoping so. We made the decision to move here 2 years ago and had to do a massive remodel to the house. Pretty much a gut job. It has been a big investment. I am roughly 20-25 years younger compared to most of my waterfront neighbors but we made the decision to take the leap now so we can enjoy what the bay has to offer, even if it means I have to work a little longer. But seeing the smile on my daughter's face makes is worth it.

On my boat earlier today drinking rum at a marina. Bought a first edition Jaws paperback from the marina and came back to see all the Jaws speculation. Please let it happen!
