From my car window this past fall...

Pizza delivery driver with DUI plates.

    Quoted from Spyderturbo007:

What's a DUI plate? I'm assuming it's to identify someone that got arrested for DUI? Is it just a different color or something? I don't see any text on the plate saying DUI.

Yes, it's used to identify those who get DUIs, but they are typically reserved for those that have a situation more serious than your first time, .08 DUI (read below for examples on why you get the plates).

The plates are black and white, start with the letter "W", followed by another letter, followed by numbers.

Per two Minnesota lawyers that specialize in DUI (Whiskey Plates):

"What offenses result in a driving needing ‘whiskey plates’?"

*The commission of any DWI offense with a blood alcohol concentration of .16 or more, as measured by blood, urine, or breathalyzer DWI or Test refusal within ten years of a preceding DWI/Test refusal offense

*Committing a DWI offense or test refusal while a child under 16 years of age is present in the vehicle.

*Committing a DWI after license revocation, cancellation, or suspension

*Committing a DWI offense as a commercial driver with a BAC of .04 or above within ten years of a previous DWI conviction

LAX to MSP around mid-February. Recognize the city below? I hope you have it by the third picture.

    Quoted from jaytrem:

Idaho Springs, Colorado? They have lots of neon!

I think I'm sensing sarcasm. If not, the answer was incorrect.

You are right though. You can see Denver on the right side of the plane and Cheyenne on the left about halfway through the flight.

On this flight, all of the mountains in Utah and Colorado were lit brightly by the moon that night. You could see the small ski towns scattered everywhere.

    Quoted from KJIa:

Early picture of the storm that moved across the Midwest yesterday. Western Iowa about 9am.
    [quoted image]

Didn't some parts of Iowa get 90-100 mph straight line winds from that storm?
