I assume it's the fish in our river making these circles. There is often a fish hanging out in them and sometimes some empty clam shells. Maybe the lay eggs there???

    Quoted from aFineMoose:

We’ve had high water, and as it drops rocks appear. I did a rock check in the air, but you can’t see everything. Unfortunately I scraped one pretty good as I was leaving the shoreline, so maintenance has to fix my mistake. Lots of our docks were wrecked by ice in the winter, so we had to beach a lot, which was a ticking time bomb.

    What size is that one?

It was actually only 3 inches - small by Houston or Australia standards

I wondered what the hell that was as well. Turns out was a piece of gelcoat from a boat repair - was from the lip of the plastic container.

Another from Rome today at the Forum. Rumor is that this guy was being taken prisoner for using too many color LEDs in his GI.

I remember back when i used to fill my shed with shit from sales and auctions. Saved a fortune on things i didn't need, and sometimes even on things i did. Then i realized if i just bought the things i did need new, i'd save another fortune.

    The deer are back
2 young males, just starting to grow antlers.
Last week a mother and her spotted fawn were in our driveway,
trying to cross the road. No good pics of the fawn.

That was good of the skinny cows to bring their own chairs. So many visitors just think people have unlimited seating.

Fresh strawberries from the patch and a few cucumbers were already ready to pick. Need a few more to pickle some.

I used to keep a vegie knife in the garden. Peel a cuke (i like the apple ones) and sprinkle some salt and eat it like an apple. Had the grandkids doing it too, when they'd pull carrots, snow peas and peas and eat them in the garden.

Thanks for the link, that was interesting. So it sounds like you had to take a boat ride over to the lighthouse since it's surrounded by private property?

We took a boat ride with a limited amount of passengers, which totaled 50 riders. We took the 1pm boat and returned back on the last pick up at 4:30 pm when they closed up.

The lighthouse volunteers were very friendly and I chatted with many of them hearing lots of information and stories.

It was surrounded by private property. I tried a couple of times by car to see if we could somehow park somewhere and walk in on our own.

The picture is the light house dock when we arrived.

Saw a ad on facebook for a estate sale starting Saturday. I decided to go over for a sneak peak. Scored a load of 2x4s and 1x4s for $25. The guy even helped me load it in the 30° sun. Going back tomorrow once they've had a chance to sort the tools.

The guys uncle was named Cadillac Bob and had probably 30 Cadillacs in the building and yard. There's still 15 or so 70s and 80s that haven't been spoken for. There's boxes and boxes of parts. He said $5 a box but I wouldn't even know where to start.

    Quoted from Dee-Bow:

It's an ace idea. The reason that 80's art is my favourite is because it reminds me of that time when i was first getting my sleeves done (79-84) and the tattoo industry was coming out of the ships and anchors and bluebirds and into the cartoons and the spectres and other 80's art the same as Sorcerer.

Looks too clean. The dirty, cheating, lazy bee farmer down the back here is such a grubby operation. 2 old blokes with a rotating youngster to do the lifting.

I'll take some pics next time they rob. Cheating bastard is feeding pollen mix atm.
