Last week we saw a Space X launch on way to a fishing trip in the Cape.Seen a retrieval boat and a stage 1 getting ready to be used for a 10th time .Wife liked seeing the cruise ships in port and caught a trio of kings along with a bunch of odds and ends .Then there was some talk of a sighting during the launch .I went back to our pictures and found this …..wait for it ….

From my browser window, from a WWF project up from where I was born.. https://www.wwf.se/livesandning-fran-fiskvandring/
gjedde (resized).pngFound these going thru some old email attachments
from when I used to work in oil field in Cabinda Angola.
Outside my office window there were a few trees
which were inhabited by a whole bunch of weavers.
IMG_0061 - both nests (resized).JPGIMG_0065 - bigger nest (resized).JPGbird pecking at my window (resized).JPG
These couple nests fell out of the trees, one with an egg.
Within a few days they would weave a whole new nest to replace the old one.

That "What's This?" above is a lunar eclipse. There was one the other night.
Quoted from ZoraShinoda:Heard scratching today on one of the windows near my pinball machines today guess this guy wanted to come in and play some. Probably heard me capturing some of his ancestors on my Jurassic Park machine.

I would freak out if I saw that staring in my window!!
Some more pics from Angola
Baby Sea Turtles were from a hatching on the beach located
on the compound where I worked.
The african Grey Parrots were some birds that we had as pets
that the locals captured and sold to our work crew, (some since hatchlings)
We built and housed them in a small aviary about 10x20x10ft.
The birds were somewhat talkative, when they wanted to be.
Had to guard your ears when they perched on your head or shoulders.

Dammit I thought someone was coming here to clean up the mess
Quoted from pinwiztom:What may look like a flock of birds is actually a bunch of bats, flying fox fruit bats.
They would come out at dusk every night, they roosted in trees all over the compound.

Aren't ALL bats of the flying variety?!
Quoted from hwyhed:Saw this on the way to work this morning..still don’t know what was on fire
Looks like a vape contest to me.

We had a crematorium down the road from where I use to work. No kidding, it would look like that some days (not quite that big tho).

That's a fat fire. if you let it get too hot the fat catches. Bad look when they are filing out of the chapel and it's over their shoulders.
Quoted from punkin:In the hospital visiting my mum today after she hada stroke the day fore yesterday.
Your Mother will be in my thoughts and prayers.
LTG : )
Respectfully sending my best wishes to mama punkin! Hope she's feeling comfortable and happy you're visiting. You're a good son!
punkin your mum will be in my prayers and wishing her a speedy recovery. Visit her when and as often as you can as it helps her along.
My mother a few years ago had to have her spine glued together and I was there everyday I could. Those visits make their day and helps them while they recoup.
She's in my thoughts and prayers as well. Having taken care of my late mom after strokes, TIAs etc - it is not an easy thing.
Try to support her as much as you can while maintaining your health and well-being. Any other siblings available to help visit and help out?
Quoted from punkin:In the hospital visiting my mum today after she hada stroke the day fore yesterday. lady across from her in the stroke ward couldn't hold her comb, so her neighbor stepped up.
Feeling a little down today, but i'm doing better than mum.

How can something be halfway abandoned? Is that like being a little bit pregnant? Nonetheless, that’s a really nice scene.
