Dirk did you ever live in Southern africa region?
The soda I preferred was Stoney Tangawizi
a super strong Ginger Ale.[quoted image]

No. My parents moved to south Africa in 1970 and lived in Johannesburg. They spent a couple years in Botswana. My mom was pregnant with me in 1977 and headed back to Canada for good. Dad was a heavy duty mechanic and worked on Roles Royce diesel engines at different plants and power stations.

    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

south Africa in 1970 and lived in Johannesburg

I work in the oil fields of west and east africa for about 20 yrs off and on as a commuter.
and when I was working in Mozambique and Tanzania, they had the Stoney Tangawizi ginger ale,
It is a brand owned by coca cola, but never marketed in USA.
Closest thing to it is probably Canada Dry BOLD ginger ale,
tends to clear our your nasal passages.

These guys worked in concert to keep waking me up for hours last night, thumping and falling when they pulled out their electrical leads.

    Quoted from d0n:

looks like they're trying desperately to escape their prison.

Really, this should be in the octopus thread (and so should you). But you are correct, their only hobby is attempted escape, one in particular.

    But listen here.

    I am man.

I am the apex of this world. there is not one thing here that i will not eat, fuck, harness or wear.

Be it animal, vegetable or mineral.

I will make chicken farms for the sole purpose of feeding you people who say 'free the furry things'. I will make farms where i use the cattle to till the fields to grow their own food and mine too. When they get too weak i will eat the cattle and i will make soap from their fucking bones and a jacket from their skin.

    I am man.

If i choose to share my companionship with certain other animals and use them less harshly than the ones i consider tools or food, who are you to say that the companion is any more worthy of freedom than the food animal? If these guys were unhappy with my presence they would let me know, i am in tune with them and spend part of every day with them.

I am the king of the whole fucking planet, and I'm looking skyward.

    #3469 1 year ago

Free the animals, just these ones, not those ones.

Keep your dog on a leash. keep your cat inside.

Let your snake out of it's prison.

Ohhh, your goldfish are so cute kid.

Let that octopus go, it's cruel.

It's about time you people started owning up to your place in the world.

    Hey Dirk...
Short answer no, only for a short time .
Some great things have happened lately. I met someone 6 months ago, she is a traveling nurse. She (eventually) invited me to come on the road with her .Flew out to Austin TX Valentines for the weekend , and she asked me to stay . So the next job was Little Rock, UAMS...and here we are ,
I've done & seen more in the last 6 weeks than I have in 20 years..it feels great .

I just took one of my snakes out onto next doors lawn for a crap. old Steve came out for a yarn as he usually does, but he was not surprised in the slighest to see the stupid snake put his head on my foot, lift his tail and crap out 3 weeks worth of stored up compressed rats.

he's seen toilet trained snakes too many times since he's lived there.

Photo is of the dedicated scoop, might try and get a non offensive photo next time.
