    Quoted from TractorDoc:

Sadly I do not get to check all the Pinside Threads as regularly as I used to. I'm sorry to hear about your dad -- he was great to chat with back and forth here on the forum and we both had a fondness for our Dirty Harry machines. He would drive past my neck of the woods now and again (and post pictures as proof); he always tempted me with a visit but the timing just never worked out. The invitation is extended to yourself as I'm sure in terms of character I bet the apple does not fall far from the tree.
It may sound odd, but I'll probably always think of your dad when I see "Ashland" written across the bridge at my town's exit. That is the picture he would post from his drive by. Thanks for keeping us up to date with him and please join in on the forum now and again. . . Pinside is a big (occasionally disfunctional) family after all.

I always loved seeing that sign and he would always tell me, hey I have a friend from pinside that I wanna stop and see, always that “maybe next time” timing was always rough for us! Usually pretty quick! One day we’ll make it work man! I swear!

I am going to guess that floor is circa 1975 but it looks like the Harvest Gold appliances have been replaced with white ones

    Quoted from ReadyPO:

Remember the 70s were the 80s in Canada and the 80s were the 90s. They're always a decade behind. So the floors would no doubt be from the 80. At any rate they look familiar, I think I had the same flooring in my first apartment. I does hold up well.

House was built in late 60s. She refuses to update. They bought the place in mid 90s and just replaced the fridge and stove within the past 2 years

My wife wanted lights up this year - this is what I gave her. The doe's head bobs down for a drink. I use to climb on the roof and do the icicle lights on the second story but not doing that anymore. I am amazed by those guys that start back in October getting their displays ready. Just don't have that time and/or ambition I guess.

8AM this morning the only car that would start was the 1990 Convertible. It was minus 38C and I had to get a guy to the airport. He got a ride in the Mustang instead of the dead Flex. The photo was taken after arriving back home, it took around 40 minutes to start the Flex. Had to use a flashlight to look for the Block Heater cable, it was tied to the radiator. It will be plugged in tonight as the weather people state it will be minus 39C overnight.

I hear ya. I hate the prarie cold and say every year to the wife we need to move. I've wanted to live in BC my whole life. She points out at least we don't have crazy flooding, wildfires, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc... like other places.

I'm hanging out in my basement anyways so doesn't matter how cold it is outside. No dog to walk anymore. Keep the truck battery inside in case a deal pops up.
