Keep 'em coming! That's what this thread is for
While making a run to pick up some pizza
i drove by a small flock of turkeys (~8-10)
and on the way home a young buck (with some antlers budding)
ran across the road in front of me.
Was not able to get my camera out in time.
next time

Even tougher: "Try saying tri-color tree ten times"
Quoted from Raedwald:Some bizarre two-tone... thing on top of the Coventry Transport Museum, probably part of the City of Culture thing that's been going on throughout the year

Looks like a ghost from pac man after a wild night on the town.
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Don't know his name but this fella "guards" a yard behind my Wednesday night meeting place.[quoted image][quoted image]
That look on his face while you're scratching his chest says it all.
You got a buddy to hang out with every Wednesday night going forward.

Now that's kickin' it old school style!

Three right foot selfies. I'll bet your left foot is getting jealous.

Too true, this will balance it up
Happy Halloween!
I live too far out to get any trick-or-treaters. Instead I had a few of the other local residents stop by.

That buck is thick.
Quoted from Waderade812:That buck is thick.
He has been around for a number of years. He must know to use my yard as a sanctuary during hunting season as Mrs. TractorDoc bans such activities around the house. I think this is him back in November 2020:
And then in January 2021 with a little less hardware.
Quoted from Waderade812:@TractorDoc Have you ever posted about your camera setup? I love those shots.
I carry a Canon 5D Mark IV around with me everywhere. Usually I have a 24-70mm lens for walking around (that is what I use to take the pictures in my restoration thread -- unless I'm using the macro). I have a 28-300mm telephoto that lives in the cupboard in the house and I make the swap when I see something interesting outside. That is what was used for these pics today.
Attendance was down this year for Halloween so I left the lights on longer. About 8:30 a group of 8 came by I’m assuming high school kids, and after receiving their treats they stood out in front of my tree to take selfies for awhile. Glad I left things going for a bit longer.

First frost and rut has begun, saw these guys go at it this morning 1,000 feet from my office door. Pretty evenly matched, dark coat buck won. Sorry for the bad pictures, was worried about my car getting rammed - only 30 feet away!

Been a tough week even tougher to get on here and post or read posts, but it’s actually made me happy, reading the things he wrote… I hope you all enjoyed his posts. He appreciated you guys on here and made his retirement, even though it was early and because of the sickness, much more enjoyable. I appreciate the friends he made on here and thankful he could help or talk to you guys. #GrahamStrong forever. I’m glad I could enjoy this site now the same way he had! And I’ll keep playing his pinball game, though he’ll forever have the high score!
