You live in the coolest named town/city I've ever heard of. Cut Knife; nice.

    My street corner.

When I drive in to the city I have to drive thru Sweetgrass

I found myself back on the wagon today.

Luckily we were just making a small amount of square bales for the donkeys and goats. I didn't have to work too hard.

    The commute home.

I really don't care for Mango, but it was cold and I was thirsty.

I made a video of this guy so here’s a screen shot.

Lot of small 4+ legged critters on my property that hopefully this snake finds appetizing.

That's a garter snake EJS.Very common and not a constrictor. So the mice are safe (unless newborn)but the worms and slugs not so much.Docile snake for sure.

Yeah they seem to do a whole lot of nothing. I’ve seen them most of my life but never cared to learn much more than knowing I’m quite safely away from them on the food chain. Looks like I’ll be investing in mole traps after all.

There's a pond on the property, and have seen blue Herons, but unlike the skidish Herons,
as I was in the area, this guy had no problem gliding in and making himself welcomed.
Even while on the RTV, I was able to get within' 35-40 ft. and take a pic. I'm no bird watcher,
so maybe this thing is fairly common in Upstate N.Y., but I'm not sure if I've seen one before.
    Certainly not on the property..

Took a trip up to Stunt Road. A lot of bikers and cars up there today. This is in the Santa Monica Mountains and you can from one side see the Pacific Ocean - not shown (hazy today) and the other side the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles.

First picture is towards the Valley side. If it were a bit less hazy you can see more and farther.

The second picture is further down the road and shows one of the the hiking trails.

This bit of excess concrete is from making the tilt panel shed here. It's right where i sit in the sun all day in the driveway drinking beer.

Once seen can't be unseen, but all i see is Homer and Marg doin' doggie.

Blueberries have been ripening over the last couple weeks.

Did not take long to fill a bowl along with some raspberries and wild blackberries.

It would have filled up a lot quicker though if I had not been eating as many as I was dropping in the bowl.
