Sun just coming up near Cobargo yesterday. Another great day on the road, even better since our latest Covid outbreak no one is travelling. I’ve got a 54 seat coach with 2 passengers on board.
    [quoted image]

I hope the remaining 52 passengers end up looking like pinball machines.

This morning while walking the dog, I heard a Cooper's hawk calling for its mate. I looked up and saw it staring at me as I walked the dog.

Another little result of last week's micro-burst.
I already had plenty to clean up, so it was nice
that it fell in, and not out of the brush..

Something from a bus ride across Kent a couple days ago, with Dover Castle in the background. The North Downs are spectacular, might make another run down there if I can find some decent tables in the area

Friday and Saturday brought a lot of rain.

    5J5A8471 (resized).JPG5J5A8471 (resized).JPG

Once it had let up I took a walk down to the creek to see how high the water had risen. Turns out it was quite high.

    5J5A8425 (resized).JPG5J5A8425 (resized).JPG

Normally the water sits six to eight feet below the bridge. You can see where water was washing up/around it and how it displaced all the gravel at the entry point.

    5J5A8429 (resized).JPG5J5A8429 (resized).JPG

The rushing water was powerful enough to knock down quite a few rows of corn. I have to remember that this is not just how high it was, but it was flowing fast enough here (a good 20-30 feet from the bank) to knock the corn down. Glad I was not caught out in the middle of it!

Sorry if I'm posting a lot lately.....

Here's the fire hall/station of a small town I'm visiting. The sign on the front of the building indicating it was a fire hall/station caught on fire last spring.

The irony is not lost on me.

Pic on part of my roof of the Preseli hills/mountains Wales where it has now been proved that the stones from Stonehenge in England were originally placed over 5000 years ago and were moved, 175 mile distance between the two places!!!
Other pic where I sometimes walk the dog is a Manor House where my daughter got married, lovely place.

Well guys it’s come to my wife and kids having to do all the yard work. I used to take care of it all it was always well groomed, but since the liver complications I just sit and watch.I’m swollen from my belly to my toes. I basically can’t do shit. It is so frustrating. Hospice has been called in but I’m a fighter and plan on chugging along. I thank all on pinside for their gratitude and help with my DH. Pinside has been there for me almost everyday. #GRAHAMSTRONG #CANCERSUCKS
