Mountain goat outside the tent. Marmot pic is from the top of one of the mountains (just over 14,000 ft). Pics from the San Juan mountain range in SW Colorado.

Curious to know how busy the parks are -- I'm guessing very.

Have had a lot of rain/storms here over the last week. I'm sure I've seen one before but I cannot remember when. . . a full arc rainbow presented itself after today's shower. Look close and you can even see the start of a double at the left.

The past few post had some very nice scenery. Wish I could contribute the same.
Before this month was over, I planned on cutting down the top half and saving
the lower half of an overhanging branch because of the shade it gave around the
playground area, but today a quick snappy Micro-burst beat me to it..
I cut the first 10 or 12 feet , and the tractor took over from there.
It may be small, but she holds her own..

I’ve done Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and now Zion in a one week trip. They are crowded, but certainly enjoyable. I have found each to have it’s own charm. So far, my family has been very pleased with the experience.

The majority of it went to the restaurants my cousin runs, then we got a couple hundred pounds of colossal U10s for friends and family at cost. And yes I’m bringing some up to Johnny’s for a nice feast when I drive back north.

Your driveway looks like a great half (quarter) pipe for skateboard tricks.
Is it really that steep and deep from roadway to the garage doors.
(or optical illusion with way photo is cropped)
Any problems with water accumulation during heavy rain.

I like sitting outside of DavidLee house the front porch is unlike mine….he actually has one. Lot of friendly neighbors too. Most all of them like pinball. A lot of them own machines too.

Driveway drains well. Our place is on a hillside. 3 sides 100 foot tall trees, South side lake. Our Grandson loves the driveway on my old skateboards and his razor scooter. I put a new tire on my unicycle so Buddy can learn it also.

Not sure. Apparently the water tower has been like that for 15 years. And Mr. Miller still sells crack to this day.

I have that a lot worse than you. The proper name for it is Morton's toe. I had always heard it was called boss toe.

It is no big deal. I have never heard of it meaning anything bad.

I had heard that most successful people had a boss toe, that was just a old tale.

One of Lithops (stone plants) flowered. It opens and closes for several days. Glad was able to catch it and will post some more of my cacti and succulents that flower. Love plants that thrive on neglect once established .
