Sorry to keep fowling up this thread with turkey pics, but two hens have grouped together with their young ones and were out for a walk last nite. The chicks are growing fast and have quite a few feathers on them.

Found a baby mouse in our driveway. Not sure he's going to make it. But has a better chance than if he lived in Woolgoolga. Couple bonus shots, good wildlife day.

Both my phone and this fella were moving through the air when I snapped this. Had to straighten it out a little bit. Also zoomed in first before correcting so it didn’t turn out the best. Not bad for an iPhone SE

Moose fence alongside a stretch of highway. Those door frame structures are one way guide lanes for the moose to return to the forest if it finds itself on the side of the highway for some reason.

You can eat the bull sharks too. They come up real good and are crowd pleasers.

My rules were so long as they were smaller than me and the sharp bits came off outside the boat. Folding pruning saw is your friend.

This guy was about 60kg of boneless fish steaks, that'll pay for your fuel real quick.

Yeah, I’ve had shark, we were fishing for reds so no steel leader, still fought the bull for a few minutes before it snapped off. Fun times!

    Today’s haul and dinner !

My grandson had his year end baseball tournament this weekend. Right after his last game ended yesterday, we all heard someone screaming for help. About 20 feet away an old guy had collapsed. Within seconds, there had to be 8 people around him. My son is a firman, his new wife is an er nurse and his ex wife is also a nurse. I couldn’t be more proud of how fast they moved. Without any hesitation whatsoever they were on this guy. Thankfully a St. Paul police officer was there and was the first to start resuscitation. He came back after about 30 seconds.

Found out today, he’s doing well although he has a few cracked ribs. I was surprised at that but my son said if you don’t crack a rib or two during resuscitation, you aren’t doing it well enough. The cop knew what the f’ he was doing!

The two boys in blue are his grandsons. My heart just broke for them as they watched everyone work on their grandfather.

Thank God there are nurses, doctors, first responders and others around us willing to help at the drop of a hat.

    Nice esky full of snapper.

I'd always just float a deadbait on a trace out the back under a balloon while bottom fishing, it's not in the way and can give you a nice bonus.

That's awesome. Yep, first time I did CPR I looked at my partner as I heard ribs cracking.... Later he busted my balls for my "rookie face." It's more common in older people and usually that's who you're performing CPR on.

Spent a hour or so reinstalling the siding that tore off in a windstorm a few weeks back. The top third ripped off and ended up in the neighbors bushes across the street.

Here’s a random picture of the “safety feature” on my furnace. Supposed to shut power off to the whole system when the bottom panel is opened. I’m guessing it partly opened cause it usually flakes out the first time of the season I run AC or furnace.

Overnight it slowly cooked itself to the point one of the terminals worked its way loose.

Glad this was the only thing that got damaged.
