Later that evening from JohnTTwo living room.

Great for the gardens and fruit trees and most people do not even realize there are hives on the property. Not many creatures work harder than a honey bee. Both swarms seem to have taken to their hives so it looks like i have 3 colonies on the go now.
Quoted from ImNotNorm:There's an apiary thread
Who else learned a new word today? Lol
Fun fact about me. The auction that set off my addiction to buy and sell about 8 years ago, I bought a huge pile of new honey bee boxes that haven't been assembled yet. As a carpenter I just saw it as material, but after doing some research we decided to list them on kijiji and a local farmer bought them that has 100s of hives. It's a really impressive operation and he employs two young girls who are full time employed selling honey to locals!
Another turkey was hanging around the barn while I was working outside over the weekend.
Usually they run away when they see me but this one was persistently close. After awhile I heard some peeps and found a group of these guys hiding in the hay field nearby. Can't be more than a couple days old.

Cheers to that. My office also has wheels.
If you stretch picture you can see the section of the beach they haven't "sanded" yet. The cities buy sand from the Santa Ana river bed and truck it to beach. They then use loaders and load into hundreds of huge sacks first and then take onto beach to distribute it. Looks like part of a bag got loose onto the parking lot. They had an enormous amount of sand to put on "Hole in the Fence" beach and then the part of Doheny that the picture shows. One weekend there is a shitty rocky beach and next week there is fine sand on the beach. It's a miracle.
Same day picture of the San Clemente pier. We do the same thing with sand here at our beaches.

I expected to see a photo of someone walking in the aisle at a crowded pinball show.
I guess I was picturing a different kind of crop dusting than what you saw.

Nice tow pic. I was freaking at first. Hopefully you had a passenger to mess with.

Especially if they were napping, and you awake them with a scream or a loud OMG.

Quoted from mtn-:Hm. Is that a common practice?
Alot of erosion at our beaches in San Clemente, Capistrano Beach, and Doheny Beach in Dana Point. I have only seen this here, but I don't really go to many other beaches. In many parts of Newport Beach the beaches are much bigger, with way more sand, so you don't notice the erosion as much.
Quoted from jamesmc:A couple more pictures of how they sand our beaches. They dump an incredible amount of sand and then load into the bags. Which are then spread onto the beach.
Here they dredge offshore for the sand for beach replenishment. They use barges and heavy equipment. I've never heard of bagging it, though. I guess trucking it in from inland makes a difference.
Nowhere as clear as @tractordoc's - taken from about 50' with a cell phone camera. I am on a 2600 acre, mostly wooded campus at work and it is not unusual to see as many 30-40 deer on the evening commute home exiting the campus. They are usually in groups of 4-7. Pretty bold too, will feed right up to road.

Land is so flat I watched the dog run away for two days.
A picture from a local hospital where I have been for the past week. I’m getting out today but things are not better then when I came in, only worse. The liver doesn’t seem to want to do it’s job and there is nothing more then can do but hope it wakes up. #grahamstrong #cancersucks.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. Good luck and hoping for a speedy wake-up for the liver and recovery!

Hoping things take a positive turn once you are back at home. I'm still expecting you to take that Ashland exit so I can put you to work for a bit.
Thanks everyone for their positive feedback. I appreciate it a lot. Just have to take things day by day.

I would love that more then anything right now. Lol.

That just flat out sucks, man! Here's wishing you the best.
I have a 3 year old grandson who needed some work done on his bladder about three months ago. It was 3 months ago yesterday that I had my cancerous prostate removed. The Donald Duck doll is something they gave him at the hospital, so most everything they were going to do to him, they did to Donald first. Of course my wife had to get me a Donald and Hayes and I shared "city" (that's where he goes when he goes to the hospital) stories before and after our surgeries. I saw him a couple weeks ago and we were comparing war wounds.
BTW, the pics are just a couple I've sent to Hayes from my hospital and clinic visits. Donald would go everywhere with us.
Another BTW, the little shit only had to have his catheder for 24 hours. I had to have mine for 10 fucking days!

Well, it's a good thing you're not bitter about it or anything!
Seriously: glad you're both doing better.

Hayes is doing fine. No issues 3 months later. It just kills me to see a little kid like him having to go through what he did.
I have my first follow up appointment in 3 weeks to see if there is any PSA left in my body. Fingers are crossed.
