We just finished playing the board game CLUE and identified the killer.
Turns out that JayDee did it in the Game Room with a Golf Club.

All these North American photos are making me feel all nostalgic. Anyway, here's my morning through the window from the other side of the world:

What's it like living up north in Australia, there? I wasn't able to make it anywhere but Oz when I visited back in '99. You enjoy it?

    @punkin
    Thought you might appreciate this.
We found this little guy in the hallway in the house just now. Tiny snake called a blind snake. Pretty rare out here.
    Put him outside.

Brisbane's been good to me and mine. Oppressive summers though, between the heat and humidity (there are much hotter places though). Right now, it's what the locals would call a terribly chilly day, and rug up all warm: about 22C/73F with a low of 9C/48F -- so pretty much perfect.

Very nice! I really wanted to get up there when I went, but there were several places that I wanted to get to that I didn't. I really should get back there one day...if only the flight wasn't a full 24 hours in the air, basically. Still: I loved every moment I was there.

Monday, a Friend brought his Family and Kids over to do some paddle boating,
so I dressed the place up a little bit and took a pic beforehand..
It was a beauty of a day to be outdoors..

Well the “yard work” from a few posts above is all loaded up. Unfortunately can’t post the back of my truck in the “what machine did you bring home today” thread. Maybe soon not sure.

$35,000 up in smoke. Of course thanks to pinballplusMN for saving me like $3 by use of his fire pit. Otherwise would have gone to county recycling where they charge next to nothing.

I see dragons in the cirrus here all the time. There was three in the sky together this day and they circled my shed. I was pretty stoned though.

My front door is painted as the back door to the Smaugs lair at Henneth Annûn. Just need to swap the Currawongs for a thrush....

Free thanks to my aunt and uncle but no chairs….

Shout out to my little cousin she’s working out at the gym and is stronger than me. I might take her with when it comes to moving pinballs.

Before and after. The “round”one fits the area better but the pedestal feet is in the center. Put any pressure around the edges and everything goes flying for those who aren’t aware. So off it goes back to the owner which is going back to the house I got this one.

Stupid phone won’t let me arrange pics now but the new one is the rectangle one.

A visitor at our bird feeder pole this AM. Normally, we'd have bird feeders hanging here, but the bears have been taking them out again lately.

The previous post with the owl, reminded me of when my wife and I were living in Scotland for a time about 10 yrs ago.
When visiting one of the local castles, we got to handle an owl as they were putting on a exhibition of birds of prey.

    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

    4. Grew up golfing this course with my dad and grandpa. Where I live now was a corn field. Sliced many golf balls here, now it’s my front/side yard. Don’t think I’ll ever pay for a golf ball again…and it hasn’t broken a window yet . Good memories.

    Quoted from dnapac:

and it hasn’t broken a window yet

I used to work with someone whose family owned a course. He taught me about what houses to look for if buying on a course (I was buying a house 6 years ago) which side of the fairway to be on, depending if it bends or not. Also reminded me things will change over the years if they mix it up. Balls through the Windows, into the siding and on the roof each have their own hassles. Based on your pictures you seem to be out of the way.

This place is 250 yards from the T-box and another 30 yards off the fairway. The young guys insist on blasting their t-shots and they slice it something horrible. Most land in the large front/side yard. Nobody has ever had a house here, so the golfers have been used to just getting their ball. Now, they compete with me…or my dog…he loves golf balls and has figured out the sound of a golf ball landing close. I figure I’m just helping them to play better. Hit straighter and you won’t lose your ball to the dude in the new condo on fairway 4.
