Thanks, it is the 2nd one. EM pins fit into it with ease. Seats 5 comfortably, with room for 2 more in the 3rd row.

I haul 2 pins in mine as long as the head is off of one. My 2nd one also. They should really promote this car more. Even people that don't like the looks realize how nice it is once the drive one.

I brought my camera today. It's a little hazy out this morning, but it looks to be shaping up to be another beautiful Southern California spring day. Grapefruit on the left, avocados on the right.

Working on the Western Slope, picked up a house in New Castle. Beautiful place and great skiing. Just beyond the hill in the picture is Glenwood Springs.

View from Lunchroom Window. Downtown Edmonton high rise buildings in the background. Downtown is approximately 32Kms or 20 Miles away. Not a great photo but should suit this post.

I know everyone looks at a vacation differently, but right now in life I don't think my first choice would be via cruise ship. I'm not a big people person in general, doubt it would be a good idea for me to float out into the ocean surrounded by them with no escape (man overboard does not count!).

That is one big boat -- I imagine it is a love/hate relationship at its stopping points. Vendors love the incoming wave of tourist money, locals hate the incoming wave of tourists.

It's amazing those cruise ships are able to stay upright!

    Quoted from Allibaster:

It's amazing those cruise ships are able to stay upright!

When you're standing on the 17th deck looking over the rail, you're really hoping they do. It's all about ballast and weight...Center of gravity well below the water line.

We cruise usually twice a year and enjoy them. Lately we've been doing festival cruises...just got back from our kid Rock cruise...5 days, a dozen bands, two KR shows, and the booze and weed flowing like water. We aren't drinker's or smokers but still have a great time. 2500 rednecks and they are far nicer than the typical entitled cruise crowd we get on traditional sailings.

Link to video on boat with Yelawolf...we were front row in front of the guitar player on left when kid rock almost fell over into crowd. Drunk as a skunk.

That looks more like the view from the Crown Plaza hotel on 6th street in San Pedro overlooking the port of Los Angeles than Long Beach. That ship looks like the Emerald Princess that left berth 92 Friday afternoon.

If you're here for 9 days I suggest you head over to club 82 in downtown L.A. (Tuesday is league night with a lot of pinsiders there), or check out Ayce Gogi in Van Nuys to play Iron Maiden, Houdini, and total nuclear Annihilation. They got rid of th JJPOTC though. I believe they are holding a tournament there on May 5th.

Long beach/San Pedro/Wilmington...they're all the same to me...lol. Sorry, don't know where one turns into the other. But you nailed it...the Crown Plaza. Princess ships been going in and out. Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Norwegian Pearl too. I've sailed the Emerald before and the sister ship Ruby.

Unfortunately free time is limited, as startups usually are. But if I get a free night I'll try. Flying the Red eye back Tuesday so can't make league night.

Originally it was for the pond aerator but also provides the juice for whatever she does in there. . .

Not exactly from the window (maybe I need to change the title to "A Picture from your Neighborhood") but this buff colored deer has been hanging around in the cow pasture and I happened to have the camera with me this evening. It seems rather tame; still has its spots so I imagine its younger. I almost wonder if it escaped from a deer farm from somewhere in the area.

Animals I’ve seen so far since I moved here:

Rabbits, squirrels, hawks, vultures, crows, humming birds, stray cats, dogs, bees, wasps, 1 gofer snake, 1 rattle snake, frogs, 1 toad, neighbors, a few coyotes and one disgusting camel spider.

    Rattlesnakes? No Thanks!!

I have no idea what it is, i just bought a bunch of different things and planted them to see what would live or die. Happy to report 75% of the stuff i planted lived. The other stuff got too cold.

Set up a trail camera outside there, and report back in a few weeks.
I bet you get some cool critters on camera, including some at night time.

Seems like there is more to the story about this deer. In the South and Midwest (USA), I never see deer hanging out with cattle.

You think that's crazy, you should see the guys in China, with a rope tied around their waist. I have a photo somewhere....

Sorry couldn't find the photo, Basically a guy standing on a decorative beam trying to fix an air conditioner, with a ratty old rope tied around his waist, 35 stories up.

Probably his wife holding the other end of the rope....

    Oh yeah, I’ve seen it.

Over in Pudong (in Shanghai) I was watching a heap of dudes washing the windows of the huge Jin Mao tower, one of China’s biggest buildings.

They were basically sitting on wooden children’s swing seats, hanging from ropes 100s of metres long. The had a bucket on their side and it was all done by hand.

    Like these guys ....
