Yeah, I can see.. There was an after market company making those "protectors" for under the playfield... and yeah, the "latches" instead of the tradtitional lock down bar.. what a pain.. but I will be getting those replaced.

Cointaker was cheaper than that.. but I have heard stories of some places selling a "spot", getting your down payment.. and then .. OOps, we didn't really have one to sell you... sorry.

Still have to wait to hear about the status of mine.

As soon as I get mine, I will update the thread also.
The range is 149 - 307 = 158 machines.. so far.
Looks like the first part of the builds it was dedicated to Canada.

When I called and talked with Stern about this.. and when I asked about how many machines were in this run, and I was told specifically that it would not be more than 150 machines. So.. depending on how it is all broken down.. 75 to 100 in the US.. 25-50 to Canada.. and random ones overseas.

Now, are they going to make another run for November? Who knows for sure.. I thought I heard that they were running out of ramps.. etc.???
We will have to wait and see.

Josh, I am in North Dallas.. for whatever reason, my tron was just sitting there in the wherehouse ready to be shipped.. it was to be shipped Monday, but it finally was picked up on Tuesday.. and was delivered on Friday.

If you look at my list, black_rose was # 237307, yet mine was 237285, and he got his Tron like what seemed like 2 weeks ago. I am not going to say who I got mine through, but I paid a premium price from what others have paid.. thinking that I would get a quicker response.. etc. Go figure. I know who not to go through now. I have asked for something from them as I feel I did not get what I have paid for.. but they were located on the east coast.. so we will see.

And yeah, I LOVE that Green building in Downtown Dallas. I think that is the Bank of America building or something.

If you look at the serial #'s that have been reported for the latest batches.. we are not even talking about 500 units.. When talking about a standard run of machines, that is nothing.

The LE's well, those are the LE machines. And will always be LE machines.

Honestly, it is like many things in life.. Like Ice Cream. Some people Want only Vanilla, and that is it. Others like Rocky Road with Whipped cream.. Everyone can do what they like. The cool thing about Tron is that it is fine the way it is.. but it is like a canvas that people can add to if they see fit. It doesn't really get any better than that. If people want to LED out the machine.. GO for it. It is for them. I, like the others, am just ticked pink to have it (no, not setup yet..) I had to get Gorgar working, and didn't have room to set it up yet.. but that is going to happen this week!! =)

BTW, here is a REAL question for the guys here.. As I have not torn into everything yet to find out.. but did Tron come with Leg Protectors? I just ordered some, and if so, then I can use it on my other machines.

Can you post your SN of the machine please? =) unless I missed it in the commotion..

Mine is pretty loud.. and I also can feel the vibration.. I too think that it could probably be balanced.. but it is fine for now.
