Quoted from zacaj:

They did. It didn't sell well. https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=5239
Not to mention Beatles or all the Whoah Nellie knockoffs

I wasn't aware of the King of Diamonds remake. this thread may be a good placard for other machines using similar technology.

I found Whoa Nellie! Big Juicy Melons to be an enjoyable game, I like the way it handles 4 players using 1 set of score reels (resetting for each player), the LCD display on apron was used to be able to view other competitors score.

I'm pretty sure The Pabst Can Crusher & Primus are the exact same playfield layout with different art package, my guess would be scoring is the same also.

Gottlieb system one games play like an EM but are solid state. I enjoy most of them. Still affordable too.

Are these Solid State games with chime boxes still in them ?

Quoted from kayakkingoz:

If they had made the remake EM a decent player game with "normal" length flippers it would have been a different story I imagine

2" flippers were the norm until 3" flippers were developed

It would be interesting to know the first 3" flipper game

My current design im working on has four on the main and two in the playfeild below the main.
With a total of six flippers.

You working on a "homebrew" machine ? you can document your progress here: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/forum/homebrew-pinball
