Quoted from timlah79:The switch stuck test report was something I noticed intermittently before all I did above. But physically the switch never seemed to have any issues. Is yours actually getting stuck physically? Me thinking that physically the switch was stuck is was what started the tweaking of the wire at first with the MPF still attached. Terrible idea in retrospect, so I don't suggest doing that. Also, why this switch -- the most difficult one to get to? The game has tons of rollover switches which all have not had any issues. I'm feeling pessimistic that replacing the switch is going to resolve the issue but I'm also still waiting for DP support to reply with any other advice / things that could be conflicting or causing this besides the switch itself (and of course I will have to await the delivery of the new switches I ordered as well). I'm at a loss at this point and hope a resolution comes soon without too much more dismantling. I will report back but I also hope someone else can chime in with an epiphany between now and then.
Couldn't be better timing, I have this almost exact same issue and am kind of baffled as to why but hadn't dug in deeper. But it is the one switch on the game that is causing me constant issues not registering during game play. I'm all ears for best solutions here.
Quoted from CyberNinja24:Greetings Guys.
Just wanted to circle back on the Jesus shot and the bounce outs I was getting. As posted above, simply lift the upper PF and remove the metal bracket (two screws) by the VUK. I had planned to add drop dead foam in the area, but simply removed the metal bracket at that seems to do the trick. I could be wrong, but I believe newer games do not have this bracket.
Well god damn, I been having this problem more than I like to admit but live with it cause Jesus shot would still register even though it rejected. Good to know there is a a potentially easy solution, I never wanted to get into messing with it.
Quoted from Rensh:Hmm. The early games had a much smaller ssd. Guess thats perhaps only way is to install and go back to 059, del 100 and then update to 101. The amount of code apparently to much.
A new bigger ssd with new OS installed will set you back usd 100 incl shipping. If you wanna go that route sent mail to [email protected] including tbl serialno and shipping adress.
Is it anticipated with any future releases that space could become a larger issue for others? I know I had to delete every previous version to get 1.01 on this most recent time but it did work. Just looking ahead
