I never ever thought I’d own even one pin, now I have 5. If you would have told me a year ago that I would have my own pinball machines in the basement, I would have never believed it. Fast forward to today and I’m in the hobby and loving it.

Hah, it was the same as me then, the few pinballs ive seen before GL was either in arcades and/or private homes and waaaay overpriced for me, so i turned to arcades instead since they are alot cheaper (+ i got a good deal when the local amusement park closed down its arcade down around 2010)and was into that until 2015 when i got offered GL in a deal for my Hang-On.
Now, i dont have a single arcade left but i do have 5 pinballs (Jungle Lord, Arena, Gamatron, Grand Lizard and Stargate) instead, and owned 6 others before the ones i got now (Cybernaut, Volcano, Jubilee, Dolly Parton, Swords of Fury and Dodge city). Man, what a ride.
Never had any interest in Ghostbusters but had a good trade offer of a nice GB pro for a couple WPC games that needed some work, decided to do the deal and we are loving the game so far.

I don't think it's the best Bally ever but it has a unique set of rules, all the original pac man sounds, and a legit video mode from 1982.
Once you know how to do the video mode without getting eaten, it's always exactly the same; you just go through the motions. It's still a good game though - some challenging shots, plus the art and sounds. A worthy project would be to make the video mode more interesting.
Mine was woz, the price being the main reason. It has been a game changer for my house hold. It has brought my whole family together including my wife who hated pinball for years. We now have weekly competitions in single and tag team with our kids. Woz is a Complete package. I have played and owned all the top pins and its a cut above. I think this is Jacks master piece like Tz was for williams.
Tommy. Wife liked the theme, the game always destroyed me in league and competition, still does but I can't seem to let this game go - just good.
When I first started playing in local league, I had a problem scissoring on games of that era - and especially disliked Paragon . Then I came across a non-working one for $400 and brought it home to teach myself dead bouncing on a double flipper side and tap passing... I figured I'd play it three months and offload it. Years later, I'm signed up for the CPR playfield and it's one of my favorites. It taught me the above and so much more (patience, gameplanning and strategy, shot selection, technical board rework, etc).
