Absolutely worth the money and 2-hour drive from LA. I had never been on the 60 East from Moreno Valley to Beaumont, but it was a nice drive.
I took off work yesterday, thinking that Friday would be the slowest day. I can only recall waiting a minute or two (max) 2 or 3 times to play a game. Otherwise, it was easy to jump in on a game (and even squeeze in multiple plays). They have a nice selection of old-school video games as well.
No TOM and a handful of pins with weak flippers. Several games were down or inoperable, but that's to be expected. None of them were games that I was dying to play, so it didn't affect me. Fortunately, I was able to jam out a couple of plays on TS before it went down for the night.
There were a few color DMDs that I had never seen in person, which was also worth the trek. Everyone was nice and easy-going. If I didn't have priorities this weekend, I'd do it again!
Thanks to all that coordinated this event and thanks to Steve for making me a Pinside badge. I wish I could have met some fellow Pinsiders while I was there, but definitely had a great time.
