Well I just got back from this event and i must say it topped any show I have ever been to! If any of you could not make it this time I encourage you to try your best for the proposed Oct event! I brought my 14 year old nephew and we had a blast. I have never in my life seen sooo many games together and very well organized by manufacturer and year range. Yes some were down but at least you could still see the art work on those! Also enjoyed all the movies and seminars! BTW Roger Sharp filled us in on the Dutch Pinball progress and things are looking good! Thank you to all who helped make this spectacular event possible!

PS. Even Tim Arnold was seen at this show!

Quoted from luckymoey:

Tim and Clay were both there so you probably had the three of the four people with the best collections in the US in one place.
And not sure if he's a member here, but even the guy from the movie Special When Lit was the

That was Sam. I had a great conversation with him. He has quite a collection of vintage games. Some of them in storage somewhere in Ca. Nice Guy!

Quoted from Aurich:

So maybe this should be a separate thread, but I'm curious what people think about solving the free play issue. On EMs it's easy, jump a switch and you're in business for the most part. Newer games have free play in the ROM, done.
But what about the early solid states that have no option? Setting the replay low was a good idea, but it's imperfect. Are there tricks or hacks for easy ways to either trick the machine or add credits from the outside? The techs were great, but flagging someone down to add credits isn't a great solution, and I think probably confused some people.
The vids had the same issue. I wanted to play Spy Hunter, but it was out of coins. Dunno if there's a free play option or not in the ROM for that one.

As others had mentioned add an external credit button. Easy fix with a sign to push it when needed. Maybe the best option.
