Finally my AS Pro arrived, i was overexited.

But lets go alittle back in time...
I had my MM for about 5 years, nice condition, gold, clearcoated cabinet and playfield, played it like crazy, its a top pin, but eventuelly got tired of it, not of gameplay, but of the same background music, looping over and over again, well when i play, i play with allmost max volume on. Pinball is about 40% visual 48% audio and last 2% is the feeling of the steel ball, thats why visualpinball still aint the same.
Well my MM was out, and needed a replacement, free space means new pin, isint that the rule?

I played Ghostbusters LE, Aerosmith LE, Walking dead LE,GOT LE, Batman66 LE, Star Trek LE, and i loved most of them.

Next step was choosing inbetween GB, ST or AS, Ghostbusters was on top, but becouse of all the issues, i dropped it, then it was on star trek, its highrated and fun, but when i looked at artwork and dmd display VS on Aerosmith, i was like, whaaat!

I saw chriss buttis video review and agreed on, Aerosmith premium and pro model isint worth the extra cash. AS Pro got orderd.

(few pics from my friends place)

And we are ready to go, also installed mirrorblades offcourse, best mod ever (well right after colourDMD) mirrorblades are next best mod ewer

My nib AS Pro looks and feels so nice, i love it, gameplay is top fun, artwork is incredible, love the metal ramps, love narrow shot inbetween popbumpers, (like on my congo) LOVE the lcd screen, evevator rules/shot is so awesome, build quality is much better then i expected, and the best part, music oohhhh man the music. sound system, volume on 35 its just great.

My little 6 year old son wa devestated when i told hin MM was sold, he loved bashing the castle and poppin them trollz, but the minnut he start playing Aerosmith listening to the music, MM was long forgotten. Playfield looks so empty, untill you try the gameplay, oh mannn its so good, nice done Stern.

I am really interrested in knowing your first day with wour Aerosmith (model) pics, quality control, pros/cons, issues, happines, please joun me, and lets make this the greatest Aerosmith trhead ever!

Next stop my Star Wars LE, hurry up!

Bought from bestofpinball.de a month ago.

Quoted from Pinballerchef:

Haha that's one protected pin!! If you slide it down a flight of stairs it should hold up nicely

Hahahahahahahaaaaaa, maby its alittle too much but im tellin ya, it feels great, airballs doesent hurt, full power, blast to play

Those red cliffy rubbers at right ramp, makes it allmost impossible to get the ball up there.

Nice story DEN and great pics. I kept reading and waiting for you to give us the bad news.....Glad it didn't happen!
I can't top that story but when I first unboxed mine I was really blown away at how awesome the artwork on the game looked and good the clearcoat was on the playfield. Just a beautiful pinball machine all the way around.
As far as gameplay goes, I wasn't overwhelmed at first, but once I started learning the rules and the more I played it I quickly became addicted to it and to this day 3 months later I still love it. It is never ever leaving my collection ever!
Congrats on your new Game DEN.......its a beauty!

Thanks man, thank you
I haven't have time to play it that much yet, i love the elevator multiball mode, hard to get, but rewarding for sure.
Modes, ive mostly played rats in the celler, just because i like the track.
Little confuced, some songs gets completed at end of 30mins. Some just saves my shots, and sweat emotion resets. 3different ways to finish modes. Or maby i just don't understand em yet.

I'm also happy NOT to have bad news yet, i must say, I actually am surprised over the stern quality this time. It makes me want to order a GB Pro.

Keep on flippin bro.

Your pin pics here will be appreciated, any upgrades/mods?

#15 6 years ago
Quoted from eggbert52:

Dude, fantastic thread. Wish I had your skills...or balls to do some of the enhancements you've done. Nice job on this.

Thanks bro. Skills,it's actually pretty simple job, Aerosmith pro playfield is pretty empty, i will gladly help or guide you, if you want to doo the same as my pin.

I love my Aerosmith allready, and with ALL the airballs goin on, pf protector and plastic protector is a great upgrade.

#23 6 years ago

Thanks guys. Im having a blast om my As pro.
I replaced left slingrubber to 2.5" now. Lets see how it holds up

Im huge fan of plastic protectors, next step is to install em om my getaway (fast pin, love it)

I played as pro today, after few games, i went to my congo, beloved congo, damn, for the first time ever, my beloved williams pin looked old comparred ti stern. Dark pf. Doll dmd.
Maby im becomming a stern fan boy, dont know.

Quoted from pinball4ever:

Great job, seriously makes me want an Aerosmith now!

I would say go for it, but before that advice, whitch pins doo you like? Whats your top 5?

#36 6 years ago

Can someone please upload where stern places flippers. I adusted slightley off, this made my right ramp shots easyer(yea its chearing)

IMG_1147 (resized).JPGIMG_1147 (resized).JPG

#37 6 years ago

Okey flippers adjusted all fine, but still need more protection around flipperbuttons.
Replaced stock white buttons too. Maby in the future (if i can manage, ill install led lights on them)

Does anyone use stern balls? They are not shiny at all, more like gray. They are still in the goodybag, im using premium shiny ones

Ps. My starwars LE should be in Denmark late august.

They looks doll and used, dint understand why stern doesent use few bucks more and include descent balls. Everything else on Aerosmith is so shiny right?

Quoted from Nevus:

DEN great thread and super looking game. I love your passion here. I intend to follow this thread and use the same products if I get an Aerosmith. I also really like the pro in this title.
Your son will love it. The toy box is an awesome playfield toy.

Thanks man.
We both like a-lot
And nice knowing its well protected also.
I love the loops to achieve multiball.

#51 6 years ago

Whats deep ruleset? TZ? I often get to LITZ on my TZ.
AS got 7 modes and 2 multiball modes, to enter medley multiball. I reached there once. Not easy. That right ramp it harder then Ij eight ramp. Fun pin for sure, sometimes i just play to get elevator MB. Not caring about modes.
Today i completed sweat emotion. All shots. It started super score mode. OMG its awesome. The sound it makes when hitting a target while in mode, the light show Ohh its just crazy well done, wont get in to detales, no spoilers, but try it

#53 6 years ago

No don't think im ever gonna beat this pin. 3 balls. 9 modes with too stort time to make all the shots. Thank good for that ciu scoop hole
