I am 100% with you on this. We have to wait and see what happens at this point. If DP came out asking $5000 my initial thought would have been they were planning a second tier type of machine. The one positive of elite pricing ($8500) is that we should expect an elite machine. I see DP as tacitly agreeing to produce a game that will rival, if not surpass, all others that have come before in terms of build quality AND gameplay. If DP doesn't deliver such a game they will fail miserably, and they will deserve their fate. We shall see. I still think their roll out with no details offered was a pretty bad start though.
