I'm including shots of a couple of games that were once in the collection (Lasercue and Rock!) and have since left, but here are some shots of what I gots. And for those of you that have Star Race in your collections, might I add here that I hope to soon join your ranks!!!1601737_692785237495214_3964057132338482625_o.jpg16073_334615259978882_1494871769_n.jpg1465267_501955536578186_1003059809_n.jpg10305029_666984790075259_7041240519975510125_n.jpg10365914_581107908662948_4264936568779823445_n.jpg10606321_650371275069944_3648296667734017751_n.jpg

Good looking games guys, keep 'em coming.

Itching for a Space Shuttle ... but alas, no room.

Our current 80's section.
Technically Hot Tip is late 70's but oh well.

The 80's were (IMHO) the greatest decade for PF's and BG art and just pure fun play so, thought I'd bring thread back to life and see if we have any new 80's owners with pics of their pins.

Circus and Star Race.....well that'll take up half of your gameroom between the two!

Update on the home line up. A GREAT playing Close Encounters added, Hollywood Heat returned to the lineup, Stern Disco and Gottlieb Roller Disco added and, yeah, there's Dialed In out there on the end. By the way, I have always wanted to ask this: AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS TO HAVE THEIR MACHINES IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER?

I often thought of doing it ... but haven't yet.

BTW - Great looking collection there.

I love my early 80's pins, no complicated rules just good old target shooting with that awesome early sound and speech. And hey Skeebwilcox my pins also are lined up in chronological order.

Blackout is what allowed me to get in to A Division in PPL a couple of seasons ago. Great game!

80's PF and BG art and color draw you in and are really a part of the whole pinball experience.

Here's my 80's games. Well, 80-81 to be exact. I don't know if it's the art, the gameplay, or the relative affordability/bank-for-your-buck these games have to offer, but I'm like magnet to them. As much as I like some newer DMD/LCD games, I still think these old ones are some of the best ever.

As you may have noticed I *love* drop targets (just for kicks, I just counted between all 4 games and came up with 54 drop targets! Also: 16 flippers total, and 4 spinners (one per game)...

I always think of the 70s when I see a pink and orange color combo. Eclipse was early 80s so I'm sure there's not a hard cutoff for fashions and color combinations. Nice game!

Yep - this era of pins is my 'sweet spot' for sure. I posted in this thread four years ago, and since then I've added the Mighty BLACK KNIGHT to my collection.

Thanks Kingpin22! It was one of the highlights of my time on Pinside when HEP commented on my restoration thread.
