Quoted from haunted1:Glad there's one more cv in mn, sometimes the road trips are the part I look forward to the most.
Yeah, the road trips are a good time. It's just the ride back home that gets long, when all you want to do is plug that machine in and flip away!
Road trips to pick up a pinball machine (or 2 or more) is all part of the hobby.
So far, I've picked up all pins that I have bought.
Any drama out on the road on that particular trip, or just a long grueling hungover roadtrip?
There is a few threads on Pinside about roadtrip stories.
Congrats on getting a CV.
Did you play the heck out of your AC/DC for several months and just got tired of it?
Quoted from Tommi_Gunn:nice trade
That's what the guy with the AC/DC Premium is saying
Quoted from eggbert52:That's what the guy with the AC/DC Premium is saying
well, he can't be right all the time I suppose...
Great pin! Congratulations! I just made my own marathon road trip last Thursday to pick up three pins over 600 miles in all including returning the rental van.. Was quite the adventure all night long!
Any stories from the road?

Man.. I know why you loved your Radical. That might be the funnest pin I have now. Amazing flow and speedy as heck.
So, how do you like that Xmen? Worth what you gave up for it so far?

Yes sir. The only game not subject to ever leave is Mata Hari.
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:Did you play the heck out of your AC/DC for several months and just got tired of it?
I just get bored of games really quick. I only have the funds to have 2-3 pins at a time. So i cycle through them really quick. I'm sure I'll have this CV for only a couple months and swap it for something else!
Quoted from tamoore:Any stories from the road?
No good stories from the road. Just glad I made it there and back. I was on about 5 hours of sleep and had a wee bit too much to drink the night before haha! Good thing my wife drove on the way back!
Quoted from wescor97:Consider some mirror blades with your CV.... They make that artwork pop...
I'm thinking about it. I've seen some pics of CV with them installed and it looks awesome!
Quoted from awarner:The title of this thread makes me giggle.
The city you live in makes me giggle.
Quoted from LOTR_breath:Congrats! I recently got a CV after looking for about 4 years. Had to sell my only NIB purchase to raise funds(BDK) but it was well worth it!
Yeah, it really is an awesome game. I can now see why these "A" title bring they money they command. There is just so much cool shit going on in it. I traded my ACDC (which i really liked), but this CV just has cooler toys and whatnot IMO.
You are a light weight. I drove 750 miles round trip in one day for a X-files. Now that is hard core!!
Nice machine btw...
Yikes, that amount of driving to cycle it in a couple months??
Nice pick up, I love mine. Get the home roms if you don't have them.

That's pretty intense! That's one game that I always wanted to play, I used to be a big fan of the show.

Got em. It came with the game but were not installed. I put it in first thing when I got it home.

We are a tougher breed here than you Minnesotans. But I will consider a straight up trade of my x-files for your CV. Or if you are in the Sioux Falls area, look me up and you can check out the machine.

LOL. I'll have to think about that one...

There was some sort of smiley face supposed to be after that...right?
Quoted from Atomicboy:There was some sort of smiley face supposed to be after that...right?
Only 1500 X-files were make and 2700 CVs were made.. therefore my X-files is more rare thus more valuable. I will also consider trading my super rare X-files for your not so rare IJ and LOTR.
