mine in action taken a few years ago, have since installed pinball rescue plastics and game is in the queue for a cab repaint
strange thing is you couldn't give me a vulcan and had to hunt for about 15 years finding one in australia.
I wish. Like many others, the one at Silverball Museum is the machine that stole my heart and hasn't returned in.
Quoted from SirScott:Can I join in your reindeer games?
Hey now, I don't think that counts if they're going for rarity. (3,575 made)
This guy wanted $500 for a Vulcan and I thought it was a steal based on Fire Queen but the ad stayed up forever. I wonder what the community value difference between these two is? I agree the two player version is cooler. Funny how it (Fire Queen) would have been the cheaper one back in the day, "made for operators with less money to spend".
Hey sir Scott I have a Vulcan with the gladiator on the back glass. I thought the fire queen was the only one with the queen on it. Just curious.

Nope sorry this car is a 2 seater, you'll have to follow us in the minivan lol
Count me in.
I have both, but plan on giving the Pacific Pinball Museum
the Vulcan while I keep the Fire Queen.
I got a new back glass from Steve at BGRESTO. The original was nice but did have flaking around the score reel windows and a few other places.

out of interest how long did you have to wait? (been waiting since march for 1 and june for another).
Took me years to join the club, but glad I'm here. Nice flow with tge left alley. I had to pay up for mine and the deal had to take a Vulcan with her! Vulcan had a better coin door and playfield, so was worth it. Wish the glass was better, but I prefer screened glass. Not restored yet, but up and playing for the holidays.
Quoted from T-Tommy:I was shocked to see this come up for sale in Phoenix, just 2 hours from me. Couldn't send the Email fast enough.
I take it you bought it and gave it a good home.
Got my machine last year. Just finished restoring another machine so I've just started on it.
Backglass is in great shape, same for the playfield. Needs a good cleaning though. Not sure if I'll clear coat it.
It's going to need some work, that's for sure.
That is really dirty! You might have noticed you have the wrong Pop bumper body / cap on one of the bumpers!

Welcome to the club. FQ is a great game.
And yes that passive bumper body/cap is wrong.
you should have two red ones, and they both fire when one is tripped.
@stashyboy @bob_e Thanks guys! I'll definitely need to get that replaced. It's got some damaged plastics too, one piece is in two being held by glue. Getting new ones is a low priority though.
I was super excited finding this machine in a garage after receiving a tip. It looks really fun, can't wait to play it.
Picked one of these up this week. Pics incoming soon.
She needs love. Front cabinet panel was replaced, still needs to be stenciled.
My first EM. I guess the price was right. (free)

Can't beat that. This is a fun game. I wish Fire Queen was the 4 player version. I try to only own 4 player EMs, but Vulcan isn't terrible looking. Grab a schematic if you don't have one, yet. They are a life saver on these things.
Hi all, just joined the club courtesy of this weekend's captains auction. I had previously owned a Vulcan, and playing a fire queen at a recent show brought back how much I enjoyed it.
Road tripping down to pick them up. Yes I got carried away and bought both of them in the auction. The second one to come up in the auction looks to be much nicer, but I didn't want to gamble and miss out so I bought the first at a price I was willing to pay, and when the second was at a price I couldn't resist I hit bid on that too and got it.
After I go through and decide which I want to keep, musical parts possible, the other will be up for sale.
Will post up pics after I get them home and setup.
I still have mine 10 years now. It was wedding present from my bride. And I play it daily.
My wife had a standing order with Clay. The game came into Tilt Town and I helped shop it out.
I tried to buy it. Clay would not sell me the game, just said it was already sold.

Awesome. It’s such a gorgeous game and loving the rule set. First EM. About to pick up a new plastic set and drop targets from Marco. It’s in amazing shape but a few issues here and there with the plastics.
