One last thing (for now) on my Gottlieb Surfer. This just started. The spinner in the middle, when spun, makes a ding and scores properly but it stopped moving the "add bonus" lights. The light is stuck on the top right 500 chute. The switch at the spinner is clean and appears to be contacting well.

Not familiar with the game, but did check an online play video. Looks like the spinner activates a mini-stepper to change lights. Check that for binding.

The mini-stepper that hjh632 refers to is the Advance Unit (KS) relay.
Also, check this switch on the Spin Target (C) relay.
