You folks are so smart on here and have helped me tremendously so I have a new issue I thought I would ask about. I have a 74 Williams SkyLab pinball machine that looks and works great in general. I'm not familiar with all of the lighting sequences when scoring but it seems to me that the word SPACELAB is supposed to light up one letter at a time as you advance in scoring. While you're playing the letters do flash but go off so I'm thinking that something is not making contact properly. Any help pertaining to this issue would be greatly appreciated. Below is an image of the area in question.

Is there a stepper unit controlling the lights? Since you see them flash on in order, and then go off. I would guess is that the stepper is out of place, and needs a slight adjustment. Look at where the contacts stop at.

It may be sw. B or C on the Lock relay

Looks right. The Advance unit controls which SPACELAB light(s) are on
