    Hi:

Are the side rails, coin doors, lock down bars on late 70s/early 80s Bally/Williams true stainless steel or plated?

Also, what about the reproductions Bally side rails, lockdown bars, etc... that can be acquired today? Stainless steel or plated?

    Thanks!

They are stainless. The repro's are stainless too. One thing about the new lockdown bars, they do not have the bend going back to the face of the cabinet. If you have paint damage between the lock bar and the coin door it will show. I can post a picture when I get home.

Difference between original and repro lockdowns. One good thing about the new ones, they are epoxied so no spot welds.
