I still have my black with two tone interior 08 Vette 4LT w/ Z51 performance package bought brand ordered from the dealer with every option. I never use to drive it during the week since having a company car for 6 years but over the last two years with new companies used now use as daily driver for work and just broke 42,000 miles. Someday a new one for me but not sure when that will be.

I have a 2008 that I ordered ever option on it. I just attended a customer event yesterday at Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale for the unveiling of this new car and then had a blue one that everyone was allowed to sit in and touch, it’s so very different. Need to drive it to decide but It just feels so different already. They did have a ton of 2019 on the lot.

Thinking of trading my black 2008 4LT two tone interior custom ordered corvette with all options into the dealer for a new 2019 if the deal is right with my trade in. Dealer doing $10k in discounts on 2019 LT2 or LT3 grand sport coupe. Any thoughts, just trying to justify if worth updating my car at this point in time while mine still has value. I do use mine as an everyday driver for work. I don’t need to but curious if worth it or wait about 3-5 more years or more for the new version.

Quoted from Trekkie1978:

I say wait for the new convertible. The way it’s designed, you don’t lose anything from the coupe. Plus, you’re in Arizona...think of all the times you’ll have the top down.

Yes I know, but I have a killer deal on the 2019 Black 2LT or 3LT and would save me much money then waiting on new one at this point in time. I use mine as an every day driver and just getting ready to break 45k miles. I would not by the new version until a few years anyway and would cost almost Maybe around $12-$15k or more if I was to order I new one this year. I sat in the new ones and know they are performance better but having the last year of front engine 2019 will work for now for at least the next 10 years or little less.

Quoted from Trekkie1978:

I have a 2019 Z51...the car is amazing.
My 1 regret was not getting the Grand Sport.

Yes the 2019 I am looking at is a Grand Sport 2LT with black aluminum wheels rims, data/video recorder, carbon fiber interior package, carbon wheel center caps w/crossed flags logo, battery pkg, carbon flash badge pkg, etc or the 3LT Grand Sport has no extra options except battery package and includes data/video recorder in 3LT with brushed nickel standard rims. The major difference in 3LT In interior wrapped more with leather But I like the black wheel rims and carbon fiber in the 2LT much more. I have always liked chrome rims as my current one has 10 spoked but not an option on the new one as would have to upgrade separate cost. The cost difference between 3LT and 2LT model on the lot is $1,695. I like the way the 2LT looks with extra options almost makes total cost of car the same. Any thoughts? Here are two pics of the cars.

2LT. I like look of it better.

Thanks, me too. I liked the 3LT At first but my girl has convinced me and I have to look of 2LT better looking too. Black is my favorite color just not use to seeing rims black but it works well on this car.

So I was ready to make a deal on the 2LT with black rims above and told my guy over the phone last Friday would come in today to final. He was off Sunday and Monday and I was busy Fri sat, I did not hear back from him today so sent him a text saying work to do in the office and Friday would be best for me after work. His reply the 2LT sold today, so now left if get the 3LT with nickel rims? And cost a little more. What to do this is harder than deciding my 2nd pin been trying for years after playing tons.
