Traded for a DOA Bally Wiggler. Fixed several issues, happy to get it to sort of play normal. Its current state; a game will start and play ball 1 through 5. When ball 5 drains the score motor keeps spinning. Manually pushing the latch relay on game over relay stops the game and lights the game over light. Then I am able to start another game when pressing start button, only to fail to end a game again on ball 5. I have removed the relay, cleaned and adjusted switches and Springs. Same result. I pulled the Armature and rotor on the score motor apart and cleaned it. Same result. Running out of ideas. There is no voltage on either coil at the end of a game and I'm not sure if the trip coil should be energized or the spring tension closes it when the latch coil looses voltage. But it seems like the spring should pull it to game over position. I have read the Bally sequence of operation and it doesn't really say anything about game over...

Does pushing the Latch relay or the Trip relay end the game? The Latch relay should fire at the beginning of the game and the trip relay should fire at the end of the game. The schematic on ipdb.org shows you the wire colors so you can tell which is which:

It sounds like your Game Over Trip relay isn't firing. If that's the case, the problem probably isn't in the game over relay, but in the circuit that drives the Game Over Trip relay:

I'd start by checking the two normally open switches in the red box.

Hi Mark. Thank you for taking the time in posting the detailed picture. Yes I have to manually push the trip relay to end the game. The normally open switch with the red white wire on the match relay is open. The match relay is energized. Even though the red white wire switch is open on end of game it still does not end the game until I manually push the trip coil. I am not sure which switch on the score motor is number 7?

That's curious, the Bally schematics I've read from that period uniquely identify SCM switches by cam number (from motor) followed by switch letter (from bottom).

Ok, I found the score motor Legend on IPD.
Checked the score motor switch 7B with machine off manually turned Cam and switch closes as it should. I checked for continuity it works. I also checked match relay switches again and it is energized at the end of a game, however the game over relay trip coil is not getting any voltage. Ohmed out the trip coil I get 60 ohms. With the score motor spinning I put a jumper from hold relay Too Hot Side of trip coil and it works so I am not getting a signal to the trip coil at the end of the game.

I am getting a pulse of 38 volts on the game over realy switch green red wire however no volts are making it through the switch (to trip coil) I am going to look into adjusting the switch I don't believe it's passing voltage through when it pulses. I will report back either way but thanks for pointing me in the correct direction I wasn't sure if the trip switch was supposed to get energized.

You guys are the best thank you for pointing me in the right direction turns out the game over relay switch that pulses the trip coil needed adjusted I thought it was making contact as it looked like I had deflection but it was not a slight tweak and now the game is working! Thanks again fellas!
