Anyone have a go to bourbon based Christmas drink or punch? I would like to prepare it ahead of time in a pitcher versus mixing one at a time. I’ve looked at a few online but thought you all might have a couple sure fire recipes.

Quoted from Fulltilt:A very cool find.

My son worked for this company as a college intern 3 years ago. He was tasked with sourcing the ceramic bottles and was on a conference call with Dylan. Apparently he is very involved in all aspects of the brand.
Quoted from d0n:I may have found my new favorite bottle. Heavens door is amazing. Sort of tastes like a cinnamon frosted, filled donut with zero offensiveness to the palette. Most bourbons can be offensive to my palette... from very mild to holy crap that's strong! Not this heavens door.

I saw this at my liquor store recently. I'll give it a try.
Oh, thanks. I wasn’t paying attention to the background. Just pulled it off the bar real quick and snapped the pic! A lot of memorable family events in there.
That Weller is really smooth and creamy. I scored two bottles and should have bought a third as it’s pretty scarce in Ohio.
These beauties came from my late fathers liquor cabinet. The Beam is a screw cap and had been opened way back when( 60's maybe?). I tried it a few days ago and was perfect.
The Stitzel Weller cork was dry until I turned it over to photograph the bottom side of the decanter. I'm getting an estimate of its worth this week. WhT do you all think it's worth?
Regardless, I may just open it up and share with friends, just as my dad would have done.
I celebrated with a successful hunt at theee locations:
Weller Reserve
Weller Antique 107
Eagle Rare
Buffalo Trace
Old Forester 1910
Well, I opened the Stitzel Weller decanter.
Liquid has a slight musty taste at the start but finishes like Weller Antique 107. I'm guessing it is between 55-60years old.
Whoa! In Ohio it’s allocated so one bottle per customer. I would have to drive to a dozen stores for that haul.
Tonight’s blend recommended by SLB Bourbon Bar vid
Equal parts: Old Forester 1910
Widow Jane 10 Year
Woodford Reserve Double Oak
Darn great!
What is your favorite blend?
Quoted from Budman:Anyone have an idea of the age of this bottle?

Old Forester just informed me that this bottle came out in 1959 as a part of their Holiday Decanter Series.
