Sorry.. no pics tonight. Heavy pour of Weller Special Reserve and an long soak in the hot tub... Bet you're glad there are no pics of the latter
Quoted from Green-Machine:[quoted image]
I enjoy the reserve very much but not seen the cask strength, heard a rumor from a rep at tasting last week will no longer be able to buy any of Belle Meade except from the distillery

Oh crap. I literally just saw multiple bottles Sunday when I was in KY. I knew I should have grabbed one!! Or Three
Just traded a bottle of THH for some bottles that I'm going to enjoy over the holidays. I still hope to try some THH if I see it at a restaurant or bar. Willett rye just ruined rye for me. I've tried several but everyone said Willett was a good rye and it just isn't for me.
Quoted from kcZ:Green-Machine
If you ever get a chance to try Thomas H Handy, do it. I had no idea a rye could be that good
I had a pour of it at a bourbon bar near me a few years ago. I agree, it is really good.
Unfortunately I’ll probably never find it in the wild.

I almost did the same thing but glad that I held onto it and opened it. Probably the best whiskey that I've ever had and I've had 19GTS at a bar but who knows what was really in there.

So true! Money can make people do some shady stuff.
Quoted from djreddog:Not one, but two bottles.

You always find the craziest prices! Must be a lot of money on the east coast.

Don't bother with the other Blue Note bottles... Only the Juke Joint store picks are this good.

Close to being all gone but still about a 3rd of a bottle left. It's not distributed in missouri, my buddy grabbed it for me a couple months ago down in Texas.
