    Quoted from Green-Machine:

    Who buys whiskey to sell?

Me. To then buy bourbons I'd prefer to drink. I certainly wasn't going to turn down the offer.

    Quoted from Chisox:

Well you’ve arrived in a good place. I currently have 14 RR single barrel store picks open on my shelf and almost all of them, for me, are much more interesting than almost every Buffalo Trace bottle being chased. (George T Stagg and TH Handy excluded). For whatever reason RR 10 yr is …ungood, but Rare Breed, Kentucky Spirit, and WT 101 are all superb Wild Turkey products if you haven’t tried them. Cheers.

I do have a bottle of RB and Russels 10 on hand. I don’t hate the 10, but for the price, the RB has to be one of the best readily available damn near barrel strength bottles out there. She dances on the tongue!

I need more “daily drinker” staples, and 101 is at the top of that list for sure. Cheers!

    Quoted from Jaeg:

It's been a bourbon drought around me for several months. Today my small town liquor store clerk asks if I want this!
I feel kind of guilty because it's the only bottle I've bought to re sale. I'm not into ryes so I'm not even tempted to open it.
    [quoted image]

It is the best rye that you'll ever have. I'm not a rye guy either but this was good. Mine is from 2020.

I like the Russels reserve store picks red label over rare breed and Kentucky single barrel by them

After seeing an eagle fly over me as I left work, figured I should pour one of these.

    Is that buried in epoxy?

    #222 2 years ago
    Quoted from kcZ:

    Is that buried in epoxy?

No, I built a support under a glass top. My wife arranged the chains on the support and I put the glass back over the chains.
    Pretty simple to make

LoL... I think that I did notice that when I bought it but had since slipped my mind. Surprised it is as good as it is seeing that it is only aged only 6yrs.

    #250 2 years ago

I found something I thought was pretty cool. I like the regular Derringer so when I saw this, I had to buy it!
