Quoted from Colsond3:Done. Haha. I didn’t even realize that was sitting there. That was my “friend’s.”
That’s what I used to tell my Dad!

That’s what I used to tell my Dad!
Quoted from Colsond3:Well now that buzz is going on, so going to start with a glass of Rioja and something lighter while I work on this thing some more.
Then I’ll hit the harder Johnny after while I drown my sorrows from recent Spooky news.

Jason?
That’s the least of his worries
Quoted from Colsond3:Picked up something different as a gift, thought I’d try a bottle myself. Pretty good stuff.

Tasty! Nice Superman
Quoted from jathomp22:It was sitting all by itself and the 16 year was too tempting to pass up on. Hopefully it’s good.

I think you’ll enjoy it. I have a couple of their offerings
Quoted from ringonu:Just stocked the pinball/bourbon/rye bar. Pretty much all my money goes to pinball or whisk(e)y.

Nice! Bourbon and Pinball make me happy
I have no pictures to add at the moment, but I will mention my go to sipping whiskey, Four Roses Single Barrel Select (the OBSV version is particularly good), for anyone who has yet to try it. For Manhattans or Old Fashioneds, I like the standard Elijah Craig. Breckenridge makes a tasty high proof blended bourbon (105, if my memory is accurate) that's worth a try. I enjoyed it, in any case. Enjoy.
Quoted from Green-Machine:Reaching the end of this bottle. Very sad day. They don’t sell round these parts
That is some serious shit right there. Had some out in Vegas a few years back.
Performing a few tune ups on BF. My pace is about to slow down. Not quite top of the shelf, but always a decent bottle.

Very nice! Nothing better than a little drink and some tinker time with a sweet machine
Quoted from Green-Machine:Anyone going to Pincinnati this year?
Yup. Saturday night. Likely to have a good bottle or two in the hotel room.

Awesome! We bought tickets for Saturday. I’ll have a bottle of something
Was just messaging Erik last night. I should be there Saturday as well. Hopefully the plan holds up. Would like to make it.

Should be a good time! Will be nice to meet some pinsiders I haven’t met in person

Had some OF1910 for my fantasy football draft on Sunday. Great pour, along with the 1920.
Really just getting into bourbon over the past few months and have started building up a small collection. I think my favorite thus far is Russell’s SiB. Up next is ECBP b521 the wife just scored.
I think I (and the wallet) need to refocus on solid daily drinker price points! Seems the bourbon market in Ohio is as crazy as the pinball market.

It seems you have good grasp on what you like. I’m a fan of all that you have mentioned
Quoted from jathomp22:I got lucky and found a couple of these last week...[quoted image]
Very nice! I’m jealous
Quoted from Green-Machine:Finally able to get hands on this…yay!![quoted image]
Jelly! Looks like someone won the recent lottery? I drew a blank.
Recent additions to the budding collection was Knob Creek 12 and Rare Breed. KC12 is a hitter. Really like it.

Dang dude! I hope that’s got some age on it. Anything over 140 proof is considered “hazmat” and I have a light whiskey like yours, it’s a caramel/fire bomb that I have no idea to do with and have had a couple of the George T Stagg hazmat (2007-2013?) batches that were the most intense bourbons I’ve ever had. And yes, they will bitch slap you.

It’s 14 years old. I have to add water to it to drink it! The flavor is really good but way too hot.

Smart man .You marry a Pi and eventually she turns into a Mu.
Best to just start with the Mu’s settle in for the ride and avoid future disappointments.
This just showed the infinite wisdom of the the Tri-Lambs.

Great stuff. All I can find around here is the 90 proof crap.
